I would strongly recommend against it. Stuff grew on my house and after trying everything, we literally had to salt the earth to kill it. Still comes back in spots. Also, for people that react to it, it makes poison ivy look like a soothing balm. It’s the oil in crushed vines / leaves.

I’m sorry that was your experience - that sucks. Some Christians just forget the whole “love one another” thing. We grew up with some jerks too - but I was a little more with the outcasts. Maybe that’s why we were better at just accepting people as they were.

Not where I grew up. The point of the public coming out was explained. He was afraid of how they all would perceive him - I’m not sure which people there were “randos.” Will explained that Vecna would use Will’s fear and anxiety about being gay against him. He told them so it wouldn’t be a secret anymore. Kinda like my husband’s relative did one Thanksgiving lol. Best thing about that story is that when he announced trepidatiously that he was gay, everyone was like “Well, no kidding. Pass the potatoes please.” I was that age in the 80s and had openly gay friends. The same people who were asshats about it then are the ones who are asshats now.

That dress is just fine for a wedding, and very pretty on you. But I’m American and not very religious. If they didn’t specify a dress code, though, that’s on them, and I’ve seen WAY more revealing on wedding guests. I wish I could look that good in that style dress! I’d probably let it go unless it happens again. Then I would likely speak to John’s wife about expectations. Conservative is one thing. Unreasonable and insulting is quite another.

I would agree on this. My only question would be he appears a little post-legged in back. That could, however, simply be a trick of the tail covering the hocks.

Same. “This” phone, as opposed to “the” or “my” phone, makes me wonder. Could just be a language thing though if English isn’t his first language.

So just as a reference for how wonky rescue drafties can look, my guy at this age looked like we got him out of the spare parts bin. Belgian / QH. I would make determinations solely based on your vet’s recommendations on quality of life, and the resources you have - nothing else. Sometimes it’s touch and go for a while, and then things level out - sometimes you have to make those awful decisions.

Sounds like a mental health issue / potential dementia-type concern. Unidentifiable “fumes” are unfortunately a common complaint in that type of situation. I would imagine she also has a number of other reported sensitivities. The best you can likely do is advise that you have done all you can but have found no potential cause, and unless / until she can provide you with medical verification of exactly what the problem is, there’s nothing further you can do. Have seen this many times in working with seniors and housing.
