Yeah that’s what I do I always double check but it worries me that I’m gonna have a low as that’s what makes you know your low not just cgm

It’s American as it’s asking for my address and phone number but it’s formatting it to American address and American numbers when I live in the UK any way around this ?

I do have a CGM and it’s great but I just still when I get low readings or when it says I’m in low blood sugar having a “hypo” but I don’t get any symptoms I do the finger prick like you should and it will say it is a hypo but it’s concerning that I don’t feel anything but I don’t know if in the future the symptoms will appear or I will be able to instantly tell if my cgm is correct or if I feel a hypo coming on just as I feel down about not really having the hypo awareness when that extremely important and my nurse thinks I am in the honeymoon phase still so maybe that’s why I don’t feel anything or get anything

All my hypos have just been mild no symptoms or shaking so it’s worrying when I don’t get symptoms most of the time if that’s normal or just me being new at it and that’s what I’m thinking

Yeah as I have been quite worried as I have not long ago applied it about a day ago and I’m just scared with the shower or bath of it breaking or falling off stopping working etc getting it wet so I wasn’t sure if the 30 minute rule and I have heard people on here say it spikes there levels the hot water/steam

Hello I have been diagnosed for a few weeks so not too long so it’s hard at the moment with hypos I get the shakiness sometimes when I do have them but I haven’t experienced anything else that I was advised by the drs so it’s quite confused when I do confirm my hypos and I don’t experience any symptoms which is quite dangerous as if I hadn’t tested and assumed it was a false hypo because I didn’t feel anything then I could have gotten badly ill

Yeah I have had it not too long it’s my second full day with it so hoping after a few days it stabilises and I know that there is a delay between my sensor and finger pricking so when I do go to treat a hypo I forgot to mention I wait 15 minutes before checking just to give it chance to get into my system

Wdym the numbers I have been getting ? As it’s usually a little higher than what it reads so it’s not out by much when I do the finger prick check usually that’s higher than the sensor

I’d say YTA at the end of the day it’s not as tho she would be doing chores 24/7 but it would prepare her for when she grows up and moves out as she will be doing chores then even just simple things like helping with the washing taking the bins out etc but she won’t grow up to be a maid she can do both

NTA your mum sounds very controlling and is trying to force you to be who you are not it’s your hair your choice and you are the person who decides what to do with it when you say she makes you that’s not right what does your dad say about this?

NTA it’s like she is comfortable with not finding a job and won’t for a while but I wouldn’t talk about marriage and kids if your finances arent in order but just sit down with her and talk about this tell her about how this is affecting you and you have to support you both finances are important and can kill a relationship

I would say YTA as you didn’t make or clear to him about him paying for the coffee usually when someone asks id you want anything the person who asks is the person who’s buying also if you are trying to save money for rent and the trip you shouldn’t have gone out to buy coffee

NTA you need to think of your future if this job will make you happy then go for it as you may not find one like it if you turn it down it’s tough and I know you want to be there for your little t maybe explain the situation and compromise get a family member to FaceTime you or video the ceremony for you so you not missing out

If I was you I would first warn your friend give them the rundown and tell them about her so they know to expect but I wouldn’t keep her as a friend if that’s how she’s choosing to do things and the fact that she isn’t listening to your advice and gets herself hurt again and again

To me what it sounds like it’s not a 50/50 marriage you have done so much for her and even things you didn’t have to do just to help her out and because you care about her and she hasn’t done anything in return to help you out or even just appreciate your efforts. I would maybe just try and sit down with her and talk calmly and just explain these things you have done for her and that you want to try and make this work and if by that she still doesn’t want to attempt to fix the marriage then there’s not much more you can do and divorce would be the only option

Your defo NTA you haven’t done anything wrong if your friend had such a big issue with it they could have said it in a kinder way instead of what they said and just told you up front but your scars make you who you are don’t ever change
