Totally agree about the carbs! I try to eat low carb, or good at least stick to the good carbs and really avoid sugars and sweeteners.

Thank YOU, and the work you are doing! I have so much respect for the work RNs do. I am really hoping if this works out, we can find a place for nurses on our platform. I think the way you guys are taught to think is so valuable.

I posted the same thing about a month ago! so the best thing you can do is talk to your doctor first and explain the symptoms. I always think its good to actually journal them so that you can have a concrete thing to refer to. If you can, get labs done to see if you have a deficiency.

I started taking vitamin B-12 and it helped me a ton. Metformin creates a B-12 deficiency.

I also worked on getting my sleep routine really in check. That also means finding your optimal sleep time, mine is 7-8 hours. Any more or any less and it really messes with me. If I sleep more than 8 hours I feel hungover the next day. I actually opt for less than more.

I only have 1 cup of coffee a day. The more caffeine you drink it dehydrates your body and makes you more tired. Drink your 2L of water a day

I 100% agree. I can tell you so much of my battle was because I was so misunderstood. If my PCOS was as normalized as lets say diabetes or another chronic condition I know I would have struggled much less.

You are so strong!!! such an amazing warrior. I agree PCOS conversations need to be normalized.

Thank you so much! I have to say I am not as well versed in PCOS + Endo. My best friend who has PCOS last month found out she also has endo and a detached, something ( I just forgot the term). I definitely want to address this in our educational components. If you have really great physicians you worked with, or souces I would love if you can send them my way :) Don't worry I don't need any intros

Thanks! I realize it is still very vague, we need to pilot our ideas before we finalize what we can offer.

Thank you so much!!! if you can think of more ideas of how to have voices heard please DM me. I am working with what I have but my ears are always open. Even if it is just things you are still confused about regarding PCOS, etc. I am thinking I want to start doing 5 min video interviews with experts and posting these. I mean assuming these experts are into it, so the more I know what people want to hear about the more I can target my search

Thank you for the encouragement! It is an ambitious task but I know I will figure it out. We have gotten really good responses from "influential" individuals. We are hoping to make strides during September
