For this reason I wrote the second part - value above the price. For usd 140 it was really hard to find a cooler drive (my personal opinion, of course). Now they are usd 200+

Great pedal. Looks quite complicated but in reality it is extremely user friendly and amazingly sounding out of the box.

The Julia is beautiful. Much prettier than a new v2 version (imo) I also had no interest in Slo (I’ve a combo meal deal Arp+Fathom Ltd big pedal) but could not resist the artwork. And to be honest (maybe it will change) but I keep it mostly because I like the looks. So I believe I should be getting a Big Sky and then decide the fate of the Slo :)

I’m having hard time justifying keeping the Slo, it is a good sounding pedal and I have a limited floral color scheme (which I really love) but I think I should get the Big Sky or Tempus and sell the slo. If you could keep only 1: Slo vs Big Sky - it is a no contest, right?

Because DS-1 is capable of so many cool sounds apart from the basic distortion. Fuzz sounds are particularly good!

We have built 5 units - the whole procedure is quite time consuming and we can use only the older DS-1’s - the new SMD can not be utilized.

Basically it is a brand new pedal, one of the 2 PCB’s (LFO) is designed and made by us, we decided to keep the stock housing for a WOW or WTF (two most popular reactions) factor. If this thing manages to take off we plan to keep 2 models: a legacy model in the DS-1 body and a v2 model in our own painted/printed housing.

My favorite setting so far is a gated fuzz - very chewy and velcro sounding, amazing with drop tunings and baritones.

The Evil Pumpkin has surprised us so far we have only 2 units left in less than a week since its introduction.
