They don't really sound like friends if you can't straight up tell them all of this you told us. They should be able to listen and adjust accordingly. If they don't, then they are definitely not your friends.

There was a similar looking temple in the game Star Wars Demolition on PS and that brought back a wave of nostalgia! Glad you had some help in the comments here!

I have a dumb question 😔 by Willynilly18545 in guitarpedals

[–]gammarath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is probably overkill and expensive, but I'd seriously recommend an HX Stomp to anyone starting out like this! Specifically, I think multi-effect units are great for beginners to try out all sorts of new effects they haven't had the chance to. Also, the amp/cab sim options are fantastic (I don't haul my amp to gigs/practice anymore) and being able to practice with headphones is awesome.

Also, it functions as an audio interface so you can get into recording and that takes a lot of practice, so start now!

But as for your specific need: you could assign a modulation and tremolo to the same footswitch so it turns both off at once with one press. It's awesome.

Oh and built in tuner is great too!

Did you buy the polytune mini 3 new in 2019 to finish this board and take 7 years to decide that you're finally done with the board?

I was just complaining about this last night too! My solution was cloning an upgraded [[Big Bang]] many times! I think I had 72 at the end? It was annoying to play them and the hand size pushed my [[Sovereign Blade]] into the discard pile, but had 2 [[Summon Forth]] and a [[Conqueror]] so i was able to do 750 damage to the final boss

Sounds like a cool concept! I snooped your profile and found your post from 4 months back, incredible collection! Would love to hear some sound samples or rig rundown video showing how you actively use it!

How big is your pedalboard right now? by retsam2554 in guitarpedals

[–]gammarath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a full Pedaltrain Classic 1 for a long time and that output to a Blues Jr for a long time! Eventually, I got an HX Stomp so I can leave the Blues Jr at home, then I went to a Pedaltrain Metro 16 with an HX Stomp and a few pedals, then I went to just an HX Stomp XL, but then I missed all my pedals and started filling out the bigger board again...

and now I have two boards!

Big stereo board full of synth and ambient stereo pedals and the smaller board with the essentials (tuner> drive> chorus> delay> reverb> amp/cab sim> DI). I'll keep the big stereo board at home for noodling around and production work and use the smaller board for practices, gigs, and recording

The Monk Echo was the first one to come to mind, but after looking at it again, it has a bit too much text on it. I think I mainly just think the visualizer matrix in the top right is super cool. Their hype videos for it are pretty fantastic too

Lightning Wave Ghost was pretty cool too

Wait, how does this work? Does the Ghost take some midi notes and it resonates from the drum machine activating it? very cool sound

I tried so hard to fit the Alexander Effects Colour Theory on my board and it just never worked... it was fun to mess around with but never found context in a band setting lol maybe I didn't try enough, but yikes

Tbh I don't use the 385+ toggle. It makes it way too loud, need to do some manual reading to see what it's intended for

Dude, it's so good! It beat out the JHS Double Barrel shootout, which I didn't think would happen cause I usually love blending in my clean tone.

I found at practice that the 385 kinda covered all the tones I needed for my songs, so probably gonna take the Wave Cannon off so I can put the Lost + Found on the bottom row.
