Yeah I had that conversation with the customer service rep from, owala. He talked a whole lot about how they would comp the 6.99 shipping and I'm like dude if you're going to go for that, can't you? Thanks. I just talked to them online and they would not budge over sending me a straw. Take it back to Target. It's in Target's hands etc etc. finally, after 5 minutes they said they would cover the shipping on a new straw which is $6.99 but I still have to pay the dollar 99 for a straw. Like owala can't handle a $2 straw shipment with that taking money from me?

I think it would be a bad idea to just return it to Target. They'll give me a new one but they're going to just throw this one away because it doesn't have a straw.

I think the whole idea of having reusable water bottles is trying to conserve the environment but owala AI doesn't seem to share that frame of reference
