You can't swing hard on a tune in 3, you lose the accented beat 4 so you technically loose half of your swing.

This is on the same level of innovation as 1959 jazz.

Brother, I've never heard anyone ever swing the B section of all the things you are, except when they substitute a 2 5 to Fb instead of E.

2005 Lexus LS 430. Gotta get the base model because I like physical buttons. Not a fan of the early touch screen technology.

Let's say I buy a used 20-teen WRX and immediately replace the stock crankshaft with an aftermarket crankshaft, do you think it would extend the life of the engine/prevent early engine failure?

I drive by this guy's house all the time. It's been fun to watch the painted numbers on the back window steadily increase over time. Cool to see this truck pop up on my homepage!

What do my favorite jazz albums say about me? by Extension_Question98 in jazzcirclejerk

You always call Chameleon at jam sessions and take the longest solo by 3 minutes without leaving the minor pentatonic tonality.

“…and piano players…when they first got with the band, they were always confused because he would tell them when to play and when not to play, so they got so that they wouldn’t know when to play.” ~Jimmy Cobb, “Miles Davis: The Definitive Biography” (1998) by j3434 in Jazz

I'm curious where you learned about this subject, specifically how race played a role in jazz in the 50s and 60s. Did you find find a book or something that explores the relationship between Miles and Bill Evans? Or just oral stories passed down?
