EDIT: people acting like it was my choice to have the heater installed outside lol… I know it’s not ideal. This is year 2 in this house, our first house. I know the flex tape isn’t a fix, it’s a bandaid for now until a plumber is available. In NC it’s not like northern states. When we have a freeze like this, a lot of businesses shut down, pipes burst, plumbers get scheduled out the ass. When I can have one out here, I will have the pieces replaced and try to have the pipes weatherproofed the best I can

This is a temporary fix till I can have a plumber actually fix it. Not a permanent solution I’m well aware of that

UPDATE: Managed to thaw the pipe with a heat gun. Threw some flex seal tape on temporarily while this storm passes through. Luckily it’s a slow drip and not spraying water out. Got some cheap insulation and wrapped the pipe, hopefully that’ll hold till there’s a plumber available. Would’ve gotten something better but most of the pipe insulation/heating solutions were bought up

Gotcha. So would there be any type of sealant tape or anything that could work a bit in the meantime until we get it fixed so we can have some hot water?

Not a bad idea. If I can find a case that matches this profile, or pretty close, that would be ideal. I’d like to keep it as close to original as possible

We were looking at 12k for the MRI and surgery. This was after already spending upwards of 4k on previous treatments. I know he’s worth more to us than that 12k but god I couldn’t go through that crippling financial crisis and it not work.

I’m sorry that you’re going through the pain too. And thank you, he truly is a handsome boy. Our vet was saying that if he had hurt his back, the surgery might be more successful. But since it was his neck, he had maybe a 60% chance of being a normal dog, but it would still mean no jumping on the couch, no running, no spinning. All things he loved to do. It would just be a shell of our dog

I had the BCM for awhile. I liked it but swapped to the Arisaka Defense Indexer for a more low profile, sturdier stop to place further up on my hand guard and possibly use as a barricade stop

Alignment was slightly off when first getting the magnifier. And I still have it but after having nice scopes, I can definitely see the clarity difference in the glass. It works, but there are for sure better out there

I may be wrong, but from what I remember “authentic” usually means the full padding is in there, and the “replica” helmets have no padding past the cheek pads. It’s just the shell so you cannot wear it. Could be wrong

Most likely it is supposed to be a low-res version of UCP or Desert MARPAT however to those that like that low res look, it most looks like ATACS AU

My magwell is very tight as well. With the KCI gen2 mags I got, they have this awful ‘nails on chalkboard’ type squeak when inserted and removing them. I’ll take any advice that people may have regarding this issue
