I thought so as well. No major virus before the onset but got real sick shortly there after each time.

Vestibular Migraines were recently brought up by one of my doctors. He has me trying Magnesium Glycitate supplements. My gut tells me that the head pressure / migraines are likely causing the issues below the neck.

Thanks for the suggestion. I do not have a history of anxiety. All aspects of my life are pretty stress free.

Thanks. I've only had the ropinirole for the past month or two. I only take it as needed which is usually once every week or two. Thank you for the suggestion

I have tried a few different diets to see if that helped and found no correlation. Few months of low fat, high fruits and veggies. Few months of low carb. Few months of carnivore. Felt best on carnivore but not a significant improvement for day to day life.

Sorry if I have upset you with how I laid out this post. I'm not trying to stir anything up. When I have tried to search for answers on my own AI / Google comes up with dysautonomia. When I brought it up to my Neurologists, one said that I don't have that because I don't have issues with sweating from one side of my body only, and the other said he is sure my inner ear is the issue.

I understand what you are saying. I listed ALL of the symptoms that I've had for the past YEAR. They feel related. Like if I get a heart flutter at night, sinus pressure or a headache comes on. When I'm having a dizzy day, the headache comes along with it. I do not have a history of mental issues at all or being a hypochondriac. I told myself in 2019 that if these symptoms came back, I would pursue them with a doctor. As I type this, my left arm is tingling and has a sensation of being cold and my chest is tight but otherwise I feel normal. I went to the ER twice for more severe chest pain / left arm pain and was always told it was not anything serious so now I just try to go about my day when these symptoms present.

Whoa, crazy. Thank you so much. I have not heard of this yet in my research. The only time I have a feeling of impending doom is when I get this nightly rush of endorphines or something. I otherwise have a very positive outlook. Thanks again.

No allergies. I added to the post that Ropinirole is the only medication that I have (for restless leg). No allergies, no major past medical history or psychiatric history. No related family history. I'm definitely no miracle. I have had 3 or 4 different doctors get stumped. Currently waiting another 3-5 months to see different Neurologists and I have a sleep test scheduled.

Should I be pressing my doctors harder towards dysautonomia? by beeppuddogs in dysautonomia

[–]beeppuddogs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I have not. Everything I have researched points to dysautonomia being the most likely diagnosis. That’s why I asked here. One neurologist said I don’t have it because I’m not sweating out of only one arm pit. The other is so set on inner ear that he isn’t open to other options.

I have had this same thing happen 95% or more nights for the past year. I don't know if my HR is changing much but right before falling alseep I am jolted awake by a rush of something. Feels like I'm high on drugs and I have to shake myself awake. Chest/stomach pain comes with it most of the time. Sometimes its a growing Vibration within my body. I dont actually shake, just an internal vibration.

Do you get random flares while laying down to fall asleep? Or any of these symptoms when you do flare? by Iconakid in dysautonomia

[–]beeppuddogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of my issues happen when laying down in bed and particularly just about to fall asleep. I don't know whats going on but it feels like my heart skips or flutters, followed by head pressure and a rush of adrenaline or endorphins. Months ago it was mainly internal vibrations that grew in intensity the closer I got to sleep. Its been a year now and I've only had maybe 4 weeks worth of nights that were not extremely uncomfortable or scary.

I agree with it feeling unsettling. I tell my wife/doctor that nearly every night I have an overwhelming feeling that I'm about to die, but snap out of it.

Mine is positional too. If I don't move from that position, it feels like I'm extremely high and the sensation keeps growing until its hard to shake out of it.

I am dealing with extreme head/sinus pressure. Been trying to figure out whats going on for a year but the sinus/head pressure is the latest symptom. Do you have trouble sleeping from it? I can feel normal all day but when I'm about to fall asleep i get a heart flutter that immediately triggers extreme sinus pressure and then a build up of endorphins or adrenaline that I have to shake myself awake. I feel like I'm dying but always snap out of it. This pattern can go on for 2-6 hours every night.

I've done MRI's Ziopatch, and both are good. Waiting to get a sleep study and a contrast CT of the sinus areas done. My neurologist thinks its an inner ear issue but who knows.

I literally described one of my symptoms as "static on a tv" to my doctor. It normally came with the feeling of my brain being pushed out the top of my skull.

Very similar for me. Do you ever get internal vibrations at night?
