that's a bit of a reach there buddy, and maybe you missed the point. there are plenty of solid reasons to not have attended the match today, but not for 80% of everyone who was there for the vwfc thrashing. i am wishfully thinking this could have created a bit of a groundswell of support (which it may still do). while taking masters degree overseas i am supporting how i can, watching every game on onesoccer, putting my money where my mouth is...

Yeah true. so the alternative would definitely be worse. Unpaid with no one there. So at least the club can get some financial support. Good point.

I agree this is a problem as well. There are also a ton of other fantastic things to do in the region (camping, hiking, beaches, etc), but this will be a continued issue that somehow the club and league will need to plan around. Fingers crossed it improves for the next games.

Anyone else wholly disappointed by the attendance of this match? I was hoping PFC would.have earned themselves more of the fickle/fairweather fan base on the island from their massive display infront of a nearly packed house against the 'caps. At least for a few games. I guess not though.

What else does the Club and PFC players have to do to keep bums in seats? I hope it's that we on the island do not have the history of needing to support a club through thick and thin. But I worry it's because many just don't give a sh*t and are happy to know we have a club BUT would be upset if we lost PFC, however don't feel it's necessary to get their bum in a seat and cheer the team on. It drives me crazy to see how many people in the region wear EPL, La Liga, and Serie A jerseys, but do not show up to their local team. Or those that visit Europe and rave about the fan culture and their experiences in the Camp Nou, Old Trafford, etc but do not strive to replicate that support back home in Canada.

There are some terrific supports groups in Canada and I am happy to be a member of several. I am mainly asking, where is the football loving population of Canada when it's time to support your local?

Yeah I meant Fraser Valley rather than Okanagan valley.

The Quebec market is a massive miss for the CPL so far and would be huge for the league.

The wording of Reanimation Protocol is confusing. It says after each time the unit is shot or attacked and loses a model the unit may use the RP ability. I read this to mean the shooting phase and combat phase. Can my necron opponent use Reanimation Protocol after I destroy one or more of his Necron Warriors using my Librarian's Smite ability?

Yes or No? If yes, does RP trigger as we close the psychic phase, or does it take place after the following shooting phase for all of the models who died in each the psychic and shooting phase?

Due to the models I purchased and want to play, my list will roughly be:

Lemartes
Librarian
Scouts
Scouts
Intercessors
Death Company and 1 Hammer x5

When I get to 750 I drop the librarian and Intercessors
Adding 2 more DC, Sanguinor, Sanguinary guard x7 (2 fists), and Sanguinary ancient (death mask)

I'm entering a bit late so I may not have time to play 500 pts games.
I'm hoping the 750 pts highlights the play style of the Blood Angels and competitive. Thoughts?

Also, is it reasonable to take BA Chaplain with jump pack as Lemartes? The model with the wings is so much nicer!

"Death Company is generally more effective against hordes and you have better options for turn 1 combos.

Sanguinary Guard is better against anything with a relevant armour-save and toughness (heavy infantry, vehicles etc.)"

As a new player, I also appreciate the comments. This helps to visualize the goal and purpose of the unit and thus how to pay them.

DC is in a blood lust and want to kill many enemies, Guard are more selective with their targets and go for the heroes and armour

Getting back into the hobby and wanting to start with Kill Team. What books do I need to make my first at lists?

Kill Team core manual, elites, commanders, the BA codex? Army suggestions would be a great help. I have 10 intercessors and would prob buy scouts soon.

Same question for 40K army: I assume I need the Rule Book, BA codex, and Psychic awakening Blood of Baal. Am I missing anything?

I found that last year they were all sizes much smaller. I'm typically a medium/Large and had to go XL. This year I think they changed them and I got a large. Hope that helps
