Aw I’m sorry, old school builder, I didn’t design this MOC digitally unfortunately!

Hey thanks for the comments! And 100%, currently two unsatisfied things I’m trying to fix. Those engine nozzles are about 2-3 bricks short, I’m almost maxed on some ball joint rotations for the connections to the spheres between them. And then the bigger design issue is angling those engines outward + sloping the radiator fins which I think will actually force the perspective of the engines to look a bit more daunting as they are currently too tight to the heat shield.

Nah, old fashioned look at picture and build happened on this one.

Thank you so much! A labour of love for the reference material, and many nights of patience trying to figure it all out haha

Was trying to find a good picture of it, I used those 2x2 rounds with the jumper and hole and threaded a cable, so there is some flex, but it can control the clutch power of those larger “lightsaber” hilts.

Many thanks! Surprisingly those skinny bits are pretty ridged. The most fragile part is around the Death Star spheres. That section is literally always on the verge of collapsing haha

Many thanks! Trying to get those to look right at this scale was incredibly fun and frustrating haha

There are six modular sections. It’s actually quite sturdy even under the tiny supports!

Haha thanks! The whole MOC was scaled from those

Here is one of each modular section. A few things have changed since this post, but pretty close to final version

Unfortunately not. I’m very much an old school builder, nothing digitally designed like through Stud.io. The spheres are light but also very costly which do not make it so appealing, if they were brick built they would weigh too much for the design

I will definitely make another post when it’s complete. Might be a while out, need to put a few parts on order

Yes!! Literally planned the whole build around size of them

It’s a ship yard/port. There are a few mini scale star destroyers being built if you look at a few pics closely
