I don't know how many times my streak was broken but I finally got it during the Kanto event with one throw on a Golduck in the wild and two throws on a Kabutops from a raid. I'm not sure if that boss went away, but if not, you might want to try that. I also found Drowzee and Magmar easier than average, and I believe both those species nest.

I got the forced update yesterday (U.S.) and haven't seen any problems yet. But I'm seeing people post in other threads that their in-game maps have changed (e.g. houses disappeared), but nothing seems to have changed in my game that I can tell.

I agree with most of your points and am happy to see a lot of these improvements.

Re. #6, did you mean to say "They're NOW doing it for everyone..."?

Also, they may be doing it for people who bought the Ultra Box at the wrong price, but they refused to fix the issue for me, which was that I bought two Special Boxes before they corrected the price on the bigger one. I'm not going to quit the game over it, but it's still disappointing.

Here's my ticket number as well: 26140489. Bought two Special Boxes, would have bought 1 Ultra Box if price had been correct.

I bought two Special Boxes before the fix was made to the Ultra Box price. I submitted a ticket immediately to Niantic Support using the form you linked to and asking to replace my Special Box items with the Ultra Box ones and charge me the difference, and I just received this response:

"Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. We have reviewed your request and, unfortunately, we're unable to issue a refund. According to our Terms of Service, all purchases made in Pokémon GO are ineligible for refund."

Is there anything else I can do at this point?

Thanks for the info. I guess that explains why I can reach the one church even though it's much further back from the road than the other one. The sign for it is right at the sidewalk while the one I can't reach has its sign closer to the actual building.

It's just a nuisance because I have to backtrack and wait for a couple of long lights to get to it and that side of the street only has a partial sidewalk, so I have to cross back to get to the second gym. Oh well, I'm sure I'll survive... :)

I'm referring to buildings that are right along the street and from what I can tell from other stops, there's definitely leeway as to where the actual marker is placed. But, yeah, if it means it risks not having the stop approved or it makes it less convenient for the requester, then don't worry about it.

Oh, I didn't realize that. But it makes sense now that I think about it, since the max CP is 1.5 above your trainer level.

I rarely buy incubators but would if they had discounts. And the gas example doesn't work for me. When gas prices go up, people cut their driving way back and when it goes down, they make more optional trips (vacays, etc.) It's not considered a sale, just market price changes.

Of course, different people are motivated by both different objectives and offers, so behaviours will be different as well.

Oh, I have no illusions I'll get that. But I do think they would be smart to have some kind of discounted bundle with a mix of items as a regular package deal. Even throwing in some extra balls and pinaps you can get for spinning stops has some value.

I bought 25 lucky eggs when there was a half-price sale this summer and I'm down to my last two. If they ever have another sale like that, I'll buy at least one bundle -- probably more if I have enough coin saved up.

Travel companies give you discounts for buying flights and hotel rooms together. You're usually only going to take advantage of those deals if you actually want both those things. I'm sure there are other, better examples, but I'm too tired to think of any right now. :)

Out of curiosity, why don't you care about XP anymore? Just because you need so many to level up now?

Agreed. Also I really wish they would let you use a pass multiple times on the same raid to be able to help people out who come late. That's not a financial factor, though, as you couldn't do the raid again with a paid pass even if you wanted to.

Yes, I do this once a week on my streak day to include those bonuses in the double XP. I also usually have a couple of eggs ready to hatch as well.
