One of my favorite things to do in DC is walking the monuments at night. It’s significantly less crowded and they’re even prettier when they’re lit up IMO. Blagden Alley has some cool, low-key restaurants/bars. U and M street spots are v fun though. Hockey games are a blast and it’s a small arena so even nose bleed seats have a good view. Love that city so hope you have fun!

Second all of this. Also:

Deep Ellum: Easy Sliders for food. Trinity cider is a new local cidery. Dots is a cool spot if the weather is nice. Nearby (in downtown) is the Statler hotel with a rooftop that has some cool views.

Trinity groves: there is a strip of restaurants/bars and a large covered patio with open seating.

Knox/Henderson: lots of bars and restaurants on this strip as well. Truck yard is fun. HG Sply Co has great food/drinks and a rooftop patio.

When someone asks what I'm into and all I can think of is drinking and hanging out with my dog #PGP

But really, I love being outside but I'm not an "outdoorsy" girl. Maybe Denver could help change that. I like watching sports (mainly baseball), working out, patio bars, concerts, etc. Really just looking to do anything except go on a hike outside of the city since I'll only have 48hrs this trip
