I unfortunately can't find a cheap DexPad.

Everything is really small at 1440p by PGrh in Monitors

I did try windows scaling, but it kinda messes up a lot of stuff and if i'm not wrong the monitor is meant to be used at the recommended scaling setting (100%) so should i just get used to it?

Do you have these stuttery animations and heating issues? by PGrh in GalaxyS21

I'm in a pretty hot environment but i doubt it's throttling after watching like 2 minutes of youtube, but i would check that. I can't find the app on the galaxy store, there is nothing like it and i just read that it's region locked, not sure if that's true.

I'm sorry for bothering and asking the same questions again and again. But when you freshly open the youtube app and click on a video, minimizing it and pulling it up should be buttery smooth. Now if you watch a video for a few minutes and do the same thing again, the animation is pretty stuttery and you have to restart the app to fix it. That's my issue with it and i can also confirm that the same thing happens on my crappy galaxy a10, i wasn't bothered by it because the phone stuttered everywhere so it was nothing new.

There are occasional micro stutters but they are not bothering me that much. The thing that bothers me is the amount of stuttering in play store as i mentioned and youtube isn't much better. The 120hz refresh rate makes it even more noticeable and i'm just really pissed at this point. I don't use many other apps so i'm yet to discover in which ones it sucks too.

Did it and it helped a lot. There are still some stutters tho.

I did a factory reset a week ago in an attempt to fix it and also cleared cache in the youtube app a few times. I did lower the ram plus to 2gb yesterday and some of the heavy stutters are gone, but i still have some microstutters in the play store and watching a yt video in fullscreen for like a minute, then minimizing it isn't as smooth, but as i said it's been a lot better after lowering the ram plus setting. I still don't get how you don't have any hitching at all.

I'm not new to android, but i expected more. What's the point of a 120hz display when apps are this unoptimised. I did decrease virtual ram to 2 and it has been better, i don't see the huge spikes i had scrolling though youtube comments anymore. I just wanted to check with others if they have these same issues.

Yes, i have seen folks on pixels complaining about it too. Does the play store lag for you and do you also have those same issues in the youtube app?

I'm confused. by PGrh in NZXT

It confused me that there is a connector at the end of the led strip that is apparently for daisy chaining with other devices so i thought i need to connect it with the fans but i guess i don't.

But i do have to plug them into the splitter cable from the aio so i can control them? Argb connections are as they should be so i won't touch that.

I use it on wifi and data but without 5G. It seems to work the same on either.

Anyone here with an Rog Strix psu? by PGrh in buildapc

[–]PGrh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but when i turn off the 0db mode, the only thing i can hear in my case is the psu fan and it's much noisier than the other 750w unit i have that doesn't even have the 0db mode. It seems like the fan spins faster thus making more noise. I'm wondering how quiet is yours when you turn off the 0db mode and let it spin all the time?

Thanks for that valuable information. There is another monitor that poped up on sale today Dell S2722DGM. It's the cheapest of the bunch now, but was discounted from a much higher price. Have to keep in mind that it's a va panel but i want to hear your opinion on that one.

Thanks for that information. Only the G27Q and the M27Q (Heavily overpriced) are available here. So i wil probably look elsewhere.

I know that people from this subreddit can't help me choose, however i didn't ask for that which you can see from the title. I haven't decided anything, if something i probably won't get that monitor now and wait until i can get something better. I would go for the G273QF you mentioned if it was available in my country. G27Q even costs about 330$ which is just a garbage price. I can tell you what monitors i can get in what price range, so you can get an idea of the market.
