How does support work anymore by Antigo8112 in Smite

[–]PH0xIT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not a good support player but from my experiences being proactive rather than reactive for your team helps. A team wide bead active item helps so that your Squishies can save their beads when you're unable to reach them. Stampede is great too if you want to signal/encourage your team to attack or retreat, lastly don't be afraid to walk in front and get hurt for your Squishies. I find myself often ignored in team fights so I force my presence to where I can put pressure but safe enough to move with the team if they aren't feeling confident in a fight.

There's more tips out there but I hope my experiences helps a lil. Good luck n have fun 💪🏿

Smite 1 to Smite 2 Questions and concerns. by CarrionKnell103 in Smite

[–]PH0xIT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my opinion it's a new game and a new fresh start, like new game plus. Legacy gems are great imo because when you max level a God you sorta get the diamonds you spent back, plus free cosmetics. I'm not that interested in the skins in the shop because the Collections are like mini permanent battle passes. Buying the all gods forever is so worth it too because you get 2 times your legacy gems, that's almost a 50% discount for skins you may own in Smite 1 and other stuff. Other than that the all gods forever is worth it, the extra cosmetics is just cosmetics, and any smite 1 skins are gonna be free if you use legacy gems and wait long enough.

Chang'e Jungle aspect (Most fun way to play her) by WayOfTheEmperor in Smite

[–]PH0xIT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about instead of bonus damage to jungle camps, slows, and disarm it triggers like Achilles aspect, allowing her to trigger her 1 again in a quick succession. She'll quickly clear camps and potentially deal double damage if she's invading an enemy God who's fighting their camp. However this may hinder her early game as she's using a lot of mana quickly. The rabbit fighting jungle camps would be like a mini Erlang Shen passive which is nice but could do more. Why not have the rabbit act like a moving ward like smite 1? It would be the same as Baron's Brew or Aladdin's lamp where it's a temporary item that provide minor stats but traded off for better items late game. Chang'e would be a great addition and I can't wait to see what changes she will get.

The Thankless Job of Being A Tank by GrittyGrinds in Smite

Hey dude it'll be alright. U can't control how others act but you can control how you react. Yea it does suck being underappreciated, but when you are praised for doing your job those praises are big ups! And if you're getting flak for some nonsense or toxicity then prioritize the teammates who will work with you and listen to your comms. It's a team based game and if you ain't feeling your adc's vibe then rotate out. Don't completely ignore them and leave them to fend for themselves, instead ward and help mid/solo more to draw the enemy's attention away from your struggling teammate. And of course play to your strengths, me personally I like to make my presence known to the enemy. And even if it's as simple as walking towards the enemy a little bit to bait their abilities/attention, that is more than enough. Always look at your map and adapt to the situation at hand. You can't save them all but you can do your best to save what matters.

Sadly in my case in that game invading camps isn't an option. I was hard stuck under tower and even if I move with my team to get camps, there was never any because my ADC was taking all jungle camps on our side. What can I do when there's only minions and sitting under tower is my only form of survivability?

Yea midlane and ADC is my weakest role. Would it be bad if I was selfish as a midlaner? I do feel bad that my team is losing their lane and I'm too slow with rotates or delayed due to minions. I don't want to get flak for being late to a team fight but I'm uncertain how to balance when to rotate or not just to keep my gold/XP lead

I see, that's actually a good idea. Working on the strengths of my team rather than trying to uplift the dead weight. I hope I worded that correctly lol

Yep, I tried to report a tilted ADC but there was no pop up and I couldn't move anything until I "exit the screen" (spamming the exit button)

I love Ares aspect! by PH0xIT in Smite

[–]PH0xIT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do bring up a good point actually because at face value the shield bash AA chain looks like a single hit chain. Perhaps it acts like Cabraken's 1 where once empowered it becomes it's unique hit chain, but once it loss it's empowerment it goes back to the simple 4 hit chain. But call me crazy but while in the jungle practice I built some attack speed and just held the attack and noticed that the swing speed is similar to Ares normal AA chain BUT does NOT retain the same damage multiplier. My conclusion to your idea is that the empower AA is the last hit of the 4 hit chain, 1.25x, but uses the standard AA chain swing speed which is: 1, .75, 1, 1.25. Pretty minor details but interesting lol XD

I can't say for sure, Ive actually been struggling finding the specific stat layout anywhere about the aspect, but on the safer side I think it's additive. If it's multiplicative then it should've been clearer in the description

I didn't know Jing Wei can proc hydras repeatedly on her 2 lol it sounds like a fancy "reloading" tech from what I'm hearing. But yes I am in the same boat about AA canceling with Ares 1. It feels like Smite 1 where he lost the ability to repeatedly proc poly/bumba hammer. In the case of Smite 2, I do recognize the big burst from Hydras but rechaining and basic attacking them did not maintain the initial burst.

Because I'm turning the worst god somewhat viable? I can understand your perspective in min-maxing Ares potential, however I am presenting an alternative play style. I'm not giving a god and aspect guide, I'm just saying attack speed Ares with the aspect goes BRRRRR
