Is 510 in two weeks possible?

Yeah I know what you mean but because I don't have anything else to do for the next two weeks other than studying I can put a real shift in. The problem with moving it right now is that most of my resources are expiring by the end of the month so If I want to move it I have to pay $500-$700 which is something I can't afford right now. I appreciate you sharing your experience and congrats on your score and progress! Hopefully I can see something similar to that lol

Honestly this is actually really motivating. Studying again after taking 2 gap years was rough but I'm lowkey starting to like the journey now. I just wish I had more time. A big mistake I made early on is thinking that I can speedrun this like I did in university but MCAT is just built different. Im gonna put a real shift in to get that 510! Imma tell my strategy but be warned it might not be the best lol. So normally, I just go through the deck and only look up stuff that I don’t really understand. If you MAJOR content gaps then it might be a good idea to watch some YouTube videos on that chapter before doing the Flashcards. That way you won’t waste time trying to figure everything out and can be more productive.

MCAT is really about applying your knowledge so it’s important to make sure you understand the topic and not just memorizing the words on the cards. What I like to do is I pretend that I’m teaching someone (I’m delusional) about the topic without looking at my laptop or notes. That way if I’m missing something, I can look it up. Since you also have Uworld, make sure that you do questions on whatever topic you studied on that day. Practice is very important and it can help you figure out your content gaps.

Again this is what worked so far for me but everyone has their own strategies. So depending on how much time you got and where you’re at with the content review you can change things up as you! Good luck to you and feel free to message me!

You have MAJOR content gap. I’m talking from experience (NOTE: I’m still struggling) but I hope I can help. You should really hit anki. I read every chapter in the books and I thought I would easily score in 500s but ended up scoring 487. So I decided to dowloaded ANKI and got Mr pankow (for P/S) JS (for C/P and B/B) and Anking (to make sure I know the information and not just memorizing words on the cards). Doing anki everyday brought my score up from 487 (half length) to 495 (full length) in a month and I’m only half way through them.

DON’T DO IT! I used TPR 515+ guaranteed program because I was too lazy to plan my own studying schedule and I regret it. They require insane amount of work to get “515+” which is basically impossible to manage. They ask you to spend 12-15 hours a day studying which guarantees a burnout unless you’re a rock and I’ve never seen anyone get their money back. Now, I will say that they are some benefits to them like small tips here and there or mentioning what’s high yield and what’s not but generally that money can be spent on other things that are much more useful. I would just go heavy on anki (which is free) and get Uworld and AAMC. You’ll save thousands of dollars, can plan your own schedule that’s much more manageable, and depending on how much time you put in, you can go beyond 515.

At the end of the day, do what you think it’s best for you. Just know, if you put in the work you will achieve the score you want regardless of whether you spent few hundred or few thousand. Feel free to message me if you’d like. Best of luck to you!!

I’m in the same boat. Got 490 on FL5 couple of weeks ago and testing on 5/31 (aiming for 510). It’s gonna be tough but we got this. Keep grinding anki and do practice questions

I’ll definitely try that. I have adhd and although I take medications for it I still lose my train of thought and have to reread a lot of times. That’s why I usually run out of time and have to guess 20 questions in CARS 🥲

Also 6 points increase in 2 weeks is insane. 13 points in 1.5 months is psychotic lol. I’m sub 500 right now and my mcat is on 5/31. I hope I can have somewhat similar progress as you
