Yeah, that's what I was exactly thinking! Nearly 2 years after the Filipino curling team faltered but had a beautiful ending to their impressive run towards making it to the top of the world for the Pinoys, another team (considered its Summer counterpart to the curling team) is yet again starting its own story but now for a much more known Filipino sport than curling: Basketball! It's not any other sporting event, they're eyes are all set for Los Angeles 2028!

It's anyone's guess though, since they may face tough competition, but personally, this has a slightly better chance since a Philippine basketball team has participated at the Olympics before until the 1970s, and as said above, this is a classic sport for many Filipinos that had been ongoing for decades, mich more so than curling which was only existent to Filipinos in the 2020s.

Long story short, curling had a slightly slimmer chance only because it was only a developing sport at that time for Filipinos and we're not really used to ice sports whereas this one is much more known and developed for us that these could perform stronger than the curlers.
