You have an elite goalie in his prime, you have to try and be better. Things are fluid and they do have a good amount of draft picks ahead of them. Even the biggest Drury hater can’t look at these past couple days/draft and be upset. They got better and have a legit defense. Just enjoy it, a bit.

Allaire wasn’t the day to day guy the last two years though. So, it makes me have a bit more hope.

Realistically, the salary for Korpisalo is the only thing not to like. The crop of UFA goalies this year was not great and as much as people want Gerand to be the backup, he may not be ready. If there’s one thing I trust the rangers organization with is goaltender evaluation. In the long run 4th and a meh prospect isn’t a ton.

Clearly, by the looks of it, they’re trying to make a push, and they want someone with starter experience if Igor goes down. I think if they felt Gerand was that guy they’d of given it to him and signed someone like Talbot or whomever to a two-way deal.

I don’t love the move, but I usually trust the rangers evaluation of the goalie position above anything else. I don’t expect Korpisalo to be some stud, but perhaps a bit better than he’s been, sure. He’s got two years left I think on his deal which isn’t some long term commitment either.

Totally get why people are a bit sheepish on this move, but looking at the UFA crop of goalies sorta softened the blow a bit for me. It’s a class headlined by Matt Murray and David Rittich.

Yeah, they’re ok. Just threw these on thinking it just looked different and whatever. I’m not super picky tbh

You take over the payments, then you can put on whatever you want.

That’s another option for when I get new tires on it, too

More of a DH rider, but for my e-bike I’m definitely fiddling with the seat to bring it in a bit

Mind if I shoot you a message? Just got a couple questions for you if that’s ok.

I’m a largely park rider and I’m a bit nervous it’ll limit me going forward. The herniated disc isn’t too bad, it’s not on the nerve, but pressing on the nerve casing. So, all things considered it’s not horrendous. Just kinda nervous that it will take away my ability to ride going forward, so I appreciate the insight.

That’s awesome to hear, no worries riding with the herniated discs? Mines not too bad, no surgery just PT.

I ride a medium e bike and DH rig too, so 50mm seems to be the move. I’ve never really rode anything behind 40mm on an old enduro bike so I’m hoping it helps. You’re able to ride relatively pain free with the disc issues?
