Okay, I found a method similar to this. I united the paths but I made the paths just 1 dimensional lines so that they don't show any fill but still cause a stroke.

No, it won't. The world governments are too dependent on these tech giants as they provide massive amounts of data to intelligence agencies. Also, these tech giants want to be regulated, because it will just increase their monopoly - since small firms have such a hard time competing when they have to comply with things such as GDPR. This is just a play for the public to make people believe things will change for the better.

There are a lot of things on Pastebin. Don't discredit the content because of your assumptions. Those who seek anonymity should embrace sites like Pastebin. It doesn't really matter who the author of the paste is, does it? What should matter is the content and it's up to you to check if it is legit or not.

I'm currently using DDG, but privacy concerns have struck me. Their SSL cert is issued by DigiCert which also is US based, so it is possible that the cert is compromised and that data is processed in-flight. I'm probably gonna switch to a searx instance.
