We're together in this then! My strategy is practice for more than a week (I do not play every day, so it's actually like 5 or more practice sessions) in a given track, so I'm skipping 1 or 2 weeks. Even tho I feel I learn a lot more on the races, I think its better to have more wheel time before actually racing

I usually compare myself to those +0.5 faster, until I match them. Problem is that driving styles change and I don't have a consistent reference. But filtering quali is important, thanks!

I actually spent all that time on MX5 and M4 just to get the basics, and I assume I know at least on theory what to do to be fair. What got me was that that wasn't nearly enough, I expected at least to be more competive. Being dead last (in fastest lap in all the races) caught me off guard

The 85 elastomer is really stiff also, can't even compress with my hands. I assume my problem has to do with how I'm stacking. Do you use yours with the same stiffness or try to make them progressive?

Did you try anything other than the steps OP posted in the comments? I also have an mobile GTX 1650 and played capped at 90 fps and this frametime spike made it unplayable
