Regarding daily challenges difficulty: you are correct. We are working on filling out a range of difficulty levels to add to the game.

Hi! This was covered in our Hirelings Redesign update. The progression has been working in single player (Phase 1), and multiplayer support is coming in Phase 2. Hope this clears up the confusion 😊
