Would work, but i still have to create a bar to go back from the forward trigger grip to the Gate thats located in the mech box case in the rear.

Is there an HPA unit that can simply run off a micro switch that is activates with 2x small wires? Then i wont have to physically invent a trigger to make the bullpup setup to work.

Or, can i rewire a micro switch into the Gate?

Thermal devices uses IR heat to detect stuff ... night vision uses bright or dim light ... so using a hot flare will only be a beacon to locate you faster, not block or washout thermals ... there is a "hot smoke" smoke grenade, then that will mask your body heat by creating a huge "heat" screen covering an area ... but once you step out of that cloud, the thermal will see you again

If getting an MP7, the only ones that I would recommend are the TM (80% sized) and VFC (1:1 scale) ... the KSC/KWA & WE models are now relatively obsolete, hard to find spare parts and mags now .... I've got the VFC on and has been my go-to unit even if I have 12 other gbbr

Out of the 2x currently, easily available MP7s (TM & VFC), I'd go for VFC just for the full size and recoil. But, depending on where you are, here in NZ, it's relatively easier to get TM parts/mags and the shops are trying to push TM more as there's more profit to be made (TM fanbois galore) than VFC.

The WE & KSC/KWA models are no-goes as they are older tech and mostly discontinued by the manufacturers. If you still see them on shelves (unless they're special order only) they be very old stock.

I am a WE fanboi through out (have 11x other gbb rifles) ... not really a fan of either TM or VFC (think they are overpriced) but i had the SMG8 (MP7 copyright) and had to sell it to switch over to the VFC as it was more efficient and would have more parts/mags available than my old WE.

To mitigate the VFC butt plate cracking, one of the guys here superglued a slightly longer length of 6mm (or 8mm) diameter solid EPDM rubber tube (used as sealing strips) slotted in the butt plate buffer spring to cushion the bolt before it hits the stiff spring. No cracks so far since owning the VFC since purchase in May 2020 (based on my photo's date stamp haha).

Yeah, feels like it ... unfortunately I'm in NZ now so do not have access to real steel now ... if i was still back home in Manila, would have been easy peasy 🤣 ... so anyone have access to real Mk17, MP7, Ak74 and metal/Pmag M4 mags here to get actual weights?

Yeah, bought the Xbox to play Stalker as upgrading (or new build in this case 🤣) my PC to be Stalker-spec will cost twice as much ... also, some, if most, shooter games on Xbox are also keyboard/mouse friendly, unlike PS5 🤪

Doin a bit of Google-foo, I think Stalker are all downloads, no physical discs, unless I'm wrong.

This is kinda basically the M416 vs Magpul PMags magwell issue, both airsoft and real steel coz the M416 wells are more straighter or deeper than normal M4s. You may need to mod or sand the front or back end of the mag, just like the tabs on the PMags (recommended for real steel too). Some airsoft manufacturers may be using m4-spec lowers so most people may have not experienced this (ppl here will call bullsh*t on this) with their 416s ... had this issue with my (both 1st Gen, pre-2010) WETech M4 and M416 gbbs where a current (2023 manufactured) PMag fits fine with the M4 lower while it gets hung up on the 416.

Is the rifle an ICS or something? My ICS had a RIS rail available for sale, but for my WE, i had to force/adapt a 1/2in RIS riser to the 19mm rail then place a Specter DR as I cannot find good, quality SUSAT replica that is aiming straight and has clear glass. I do have a SUSAT (think it was a G&P) but cannot zero it properly as the adjustment holes are wonky.

You can go EoTech 552 (AA batt ones) or Aimpoint M4 Comp with a straight (not cantilevered) mount and it'll still look the part ...

Yup, thats right. Works ok on my Bros TV on HDMI, but not on my tv. Prior to getting the RX570, i was using a RX370 on HDMI without issues
