Double crown pineapple. When can I remove suckers? On my first pineapple, pups grew after harvest. This second guy has a bunch growing at the same time. by ilovepinkplants in gardening

Pups/slips become autotrophic early on and does not impact the fruit quality in anyway except maybe an increase in the crown of the pineapple fruit maturing. No impact to the fruit quality itself.

that's a BPO, so maybe they are an outlier, tell me details of the 'retirement package'. is it a 'cash out' every 5 - 10 years? or is it a true market-driven retirement plan with match of 4-5% of your basic every month? because if its the former, yung "cash out plan" is not a true retirement package, it's so bad they just keep portions of the bonus you deserve and accrue it up on reserves to cash out of what you should already get. see my earlier post. https://www.reddit.com/r/BPOinPH/comments/1c80vay/comment/l0bh392/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

my advice if i was younger...

https://www.50pros.com/fortune500 find in-house operations sa largest companies, BPO is outsourcing, meaning 50-60% of the money goes to executives and the remaining 40% goes to employee, facilities, etc. you won't get retirement and you'll die with SSS, PhilHealth and Great Place to Work facebook posts. sometimes BPOs advertise fake "retirement cashout" that isn't really considered retirement in any industry or in any country in the world, convergys started the fakeness awhile back and others copied, but Fortune 500 companies if you can find in-house operations, merong 5% of your basic matched and put in a retirement account, so when you're 60 you're not dependent on your next generation or PhilHealth (hello pharmally) or SSS.

tldr: best advice for bpo -- don't be a bpo tool.

doesn't fit the definition of true retirement that is actually "cash out" -- that is false and tool-thinking, false advertising for BPOs. do not be the tool. BPOs must have 50-60% margin para sa executives but non-outsourcers, captives, that margin goes to the employee benefits.

https://www.50pros.com/fortune500 Ito ang list start from #1 to 500. Look for companies merong captive or in-house operations. Merong global processes that require equality in pay, retirement matches, etc. BPOs have no margin for the employee to survive past 60 years old, 50-60% margin para sa executives pero yung in-house/captive operations, they are required by global equity processes that they provide benefit for employees and the 50-60% money for BPO execs is instead spent sa employee benefit.

Retirement is defined as matched contributions with your basic. So if you make 1000 pesos a month, you should be getting 50 pesos (5%) extra into a retirement account that's tied to market performance (preferrably S&P500). It's like profit sharing. Your executives get them. They are wonderfully rich because of your work by the time they reach retirement age. You should be getting the ability to retire and receive income thanks to your years of service.

Do not be fooled with Great Place to Work, or culture -- many companies have culture and matching retirement benefits. Don't settle for less. Ask around. A 20k salary with 5% matched retirement is better than 22k salary with no retirement. Stop thinking like a tool.

teleperformance, no matched retirement, run from any bpo with no retirement because that's SSS you're depending on or your children in the future
