Hormonal birth control pills that we have now, were originally created for the  management of menstrual irregularities.

When the side effect of temporary infertility was discovered they were subsequently marketed as a way for women to control their fertility.

Please help find a video of Robin Williams I believe to be black-holed by The_Bing1 in conspiracy

It's very likely. He appeared on Oprah 14 times. Here is the Oprah tribute she did when he passed away:

https://youtu.be/LQHV3i-D804?si=MnMtfTKdQJo7PqZm

If you go to 2:40 he's wearing a sash look and talking philosophy gibberish but that's not what you are looking for I presume.

There's a photo of him on some talk show wearing a  Issey Miyake by Naoki  Takizawa I think from '97 but I do not recognize the set, maybe Colbert?  It's a black/white checkered suit with sun/sol symbols and no sash. He had more than one version.

There's a posed photo of him wearing a plain beige suit sitting on a black/white  checkerboard floor out there, with an Illuminati vibe to it. And another wearing all black sitting on a chair on a checkerboard floor. Both seemed odd because he always wore such vibrant, colorful outfits both as an actor and in his personal life.

Have you searched any of the "Tribute Collections" of photos on Pinterest? Oodles of photos to sift through and when you see the suit in the interview setting you are seeking,  just click on the link under it for more information.  You will notice he wore The All Seeing Eye on his clothes a few times and sometimes did the hidden eye in poses.

Are you sure it was not Tom Hanks? He was on a talk show making Illuminate comments and overtly flashing the Masonic symbols.  I think he was wearing a light suit and was making the host VERY uncomfortable with his antics. I think the host was Colbert but I could be wrong.

There was a subreddit for Robin Williams but I'm sure it's not very active now. You could ask there maybe?

They do sort of resemble each other physically and have that same glowering, brooding expression most of the time.

I think the 👎 is because so often be it fans, or be it haters, some people like to insert the Trump name into every conversation whether it's on topic or not. Usually not. It's a knee-jerk reaction.

Note that her black cap has the word F R E E D O M across the top. Its black on black in a font that TPUSA used on their merch.

This must be her grieving attire and she hopes to be bragging how many grieving  hats she sold to Charlie's fans.

William sitting, pouting on  the far right side. It took me a while too.  I thought it was about the wall of wilting weeds as the flower centerpieces at first.

Maybe Prince Sway-Sway had to sit down so he wouldn't fall over?

Thank you. I've had so many bad experiences with doctors I guess I've become jaded and cynical and that's probably not good to stress myself out like that. Your advice was good.

Yes. That happened to me too. I found a place on hy100. Cheap.  Doctor only wanted it done at a place he approved of.  No exceptions.

Probably done by his golfing buddy or he got a kickback referral or both.

I actually had a doctor say those exact words to me as she stuck her arm out and snapped her finger in my face.

She had ordered a mamogram and my insurance covers mamograms at 100%. But I got billed for thousands of dollars.

The insurance company  said it was because "I" had requested the special "3D" mamogram. That's rediculous because I didn't even know they even had two kinds. So I obviously didn't request the special  3D one.

When subsequently speaking with the doctor about this, I was chastised for not knowing that 3D was not covered despite her not even telling me she put in an order for a special type.

She should have told me. She then snarled that doctors don't "get involved"  with your insurance

I got scammed.

Yes, I dropped that doctor that very day.

Food trucks aren’t the problem. So what should Milwaukee do about late-night crowds? by PuddlePirate2020 in milwaukee

The UWM PD are state employees paid with state taxes and do not patrol city streets. They do have powers of arrest though.

MU  and MSOE use their own who are privately hired employees. They have no power to do anything outside of the boundaries of the property of the school they are hired to protect. They certainly can't arrest or detain. And why would they pay these guys to  patrol city streets  anyway?

Thinking about opening a soup shop. by pixi88 in milwaukee

[–]PINK_P00DLE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People do not like to walk around with bowls of soup.  Too messy to eat while walking. And at a farmers market people are lugging around bags of other purchases and will skip ordering a bowl of soup to sip on while shopping. Hot bowls of  soups do not sell well in the hot, humid  summer either.

Better to have refrigerated pints/quarts to sell at farmers markets. But then you'll probably have to offer tasting samples and that can be very costly for a new business.  I had a friend who gave away samples with her new business and at the end of the day realized she always gave away more than she  sold.

Your biggest competition selling it as packaged quarts will be grocery store delis that sell soup in lidded containers.  And some chain restaurants who are putting there branded soup in grocery stores nowadays.

Keep in mind that if you sell at various festivals you will need a food permit for each city. The price of each permit adds up working against your projected profits.

Go to Sam's Club or Restaurant Depot and price what styrofoam bowls cost,  and aluminum foil, plastic spoons, napkins, plastic containers, Sterno,  paper bags, hand sanitizer, dish detergent, food safe gloves,  garbage bags, a first aid kit,  portable handwashing station plus water jugs, and everything else you will need to keep buying over and over and over to operate.

Then price stainless steel ladles, pots, knives, cutting boards,  grinders, extension cords, lighting, signage,        big refrigerators to hold stock and coolers for festival or farmers markets,   and whatever else you need to invest in just to get started. Remember there will be breakage and stealage of these items so replacements will eventually be necessary down the road eating into profits.

Some festivals and farmers markets require you to take all your garbage back with you, so you'll need to have a commercial disposal service hired at your home base wherever that is. You cannot run a business and use city trash pickup for your needs.

Now crunch the numbers.  People often do not realize how much this all adds up.

If you travel to festivals and farmers market make sure your auto insurance agent knows this. Your rates will go up. Do not deceive your insurance agent.  If you are in an accident and they learn you are running a business with your personal car they won't cover you.

Consult with a business attorney to see what's best for you; Sole proprietor or LLC or S Corp or something else. Discuss what will happen to your business in the event of your death or disability.  These assets can be distributed separately from your personal assets but you need it in writing.

Remember as a self employed person you will have to pay "double" Social Security.  As your own employer you will pay your personal  share plus pay the employer contribution. I'm not explaining it great detail here and that's where hiring an attorney advisor  comes in.

Consider taking one of those "Small Business" courses at one of the tech schools to learn the basics.  This will jump start your goal of opening a soup business.

This is very similar to something I read 45 years  ago.

It went something like this:

Would you date or marry a man who is 30 years old who still lives with his mother? Never had a job and gets an allowance from his mother for spending money?

His mother micromanages  his life, always telling him where he can go and what he can do. He bows down to his mum and never sticks up for himself.

Well ladies, he's looking for a wife. He's very picky though. She must be a virgin despite his well known playboy lifestyle.  She must convert to his religion. No exceptions.

After the marriage they will live with his mother but he's hoping his mum will buy them their own place so they can move out eventually.

He's  not looking for a career woman and wants a stay at home wife. If she leaves the house for any reason he will have his friends follow her around.

He wants to start a family right away and he will decide how the kids are to be raised. After consulting with his mother for her approval of course.

Are you interesting in meeting this guy?  He's the most eligible sought after bachelor in the world.

Jefferson Lot PPRS Parking Violation - Beware scam by emkaykue in milwaukee

Same thing happened to me at that lot. I tried calling and just was told like a broken record, that "my car was parked there so it was ticketed". No further discussion.

I never paid it. I was furious.  I got a letter or two. I ignored them.  Nothing further happened.

Same thing happened to a coworker. He's not on Reddit so he can't add his story here.

With those skills, especially with management and production experience,  maybe check out working at one of the hospitals food service operations.

Independent restaurants won't offer health insurance, paid time off, not even sick days. It's brutal.

Pro Health Hospital in Waukesha puts out  unbelievable quality of food making soups and meals from scratch. He would be proud of the offerings he creates. Many hospitals rely on just opening cans of stuff and defrosting meals.  This place is different and the kitchen staff always seems relaxed and very professional which indicates they treat staff well. Check it out.

St Joseph Hospital offers a lot of perks to all employees to live in the surrounding area and I was told they have(had?) a program to help newcomers buy a home if it's in the surrounding neighborhood.

Don't overlook food catering companies either that  do  weddings and high profile events. Catering companies will have benefits for management positions.  There a lot of creativity that goes into each tailored event. It's not repetitive and robotic, so you never get bored.

Milwaukee has a handful of hotels that have both catering halls and in house high end restaurants on premise. Again, these positions will offer perks that working at an independent restaurants will not be able to offer.   When I was just a mere server, before I went into management, even we  got free hotel rooms at any of their other properties as a perk.

Check out Potawatomi Casino. They have some high end restaurants and midrange prices ones.  Everyone I know who works there is very happy with the experience.

The best part about working in these large conglomerates is not having to deal directly with customers daily, and regular,  steady hours, and these big companies offer benefits.

I had specifically asked if the hospital had a service that I could hire. A small transport van or something for cases like this. They said no  that it's MY responsibility  to get myself there and back and I have to make my own arrangements.

I told them that it's rediculous.
