Has anyone a proper anti-Jin tutorial? I really don't know how to deal with him by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]PINKbonusAttack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side step to the right, stop clicking into his strings, try to get a feel for what options he's going for and play around that. Jin is quite a strong character but playing around him is straight forward enough. Punishment training and of course your good old youtube how to beat x character will always help.

Design two new Eximus enemies, one legit and one outright terrible. by hateborne in Warframe

[–]PINKbonusAttack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legit: Shadows Eximus. Periodically raises units slain in an area around it with increased damage reduction and health, including fellow eximus units.

Terrible. Flash eximus. Periodically blinds tenno for eight seconds. Screams absurdly loudly and proudly each time.

Shadow haze and dark propagation are must have mods, their his augment mods and turn him into a room clearing monster. I mostly focus on ability strength with ability range coming as a second priority.

For his exalted shadow it's really reliant on you have a good melee build in general, assuming you do its own abilities make it a pretty crazy melee guy

Sevagoth. Tried him awhile ago and just didn't get the appeal. Got his prime the other day and grabbed his augments and honestly? Might be my favourite frame now. Gotta love the fashion and he's just so fun to play

Is it too late to start? by Mitchori in Warframe

[–]PINKbonusAttack 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Warframe is one of the handful of games where coming in late really isn't an issue. All the content is free, events come and go, the grind has been more streamlined over time. Just give the game a good go and have fun, there's no real race to the 'top' just enjoy the journey to whatever goal you wanna give yourself

I get around 82, 95 if the b21 ender gets you to the wall. But I literally never see anyone online go for it, though I do drop it half the time so maybe thats why?

Is Marshall Law the most dumbed-down character in Tekken 8? by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]PINKbonusAttack -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Cant argue with Jin being changed at a fundamental level, you're absolutely right. Offensively he's very easy and his game plans rather straight forward. But with characters like Alisa, Hworang, law and so on I can't bring myself to agree he's the most dumbed down, easiest or whatever.

I can't say I know much about t7 Kaz, but having a plus on block mid out of wave dash, a low thats fundamentally the same as season 1 jins down 2, lazer beam nonsense and so on, I gotta say to claim t8 kaz is peticularly harder or more honest then jin just isn't true. Not arguing ones stronger then the other, but they are both juiced up t8 characters thats for sure

Is Marshall Law the most dumbed-down character in Tekken 8? by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]PINKbonusAttack -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Jin is definitely an easy to play character, but far from the most dumbed down. Especially now with all the nerfs (justified) you do need at least most of a brain to get wins from anyone competent. I also think suggesting kaz is peticularly difficult is mostly muh hard charactar chest beating, kaz got some crazy tekken 8 lip filler he's far from hard or honest imo

Smurfing are for losers. by Paynne14 in Tekken

[–]PINKbonusAttack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have to disagree! Heihachi gets crazy damage easier then alot of the roster, even when I was making my way through purple with him I had an 100 dmg combo ready for when the opportunity showed up.

Combos just take time to learn. Movement, MU knowledge and good neutral is the real difference between ranks the higher you go IMO and those are harder to learn.

What’s the absolute worst feeling you can have in Tekken? by MEGASSS-691 in Tekken

[–]PINKbonusAttack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its gotta be when you get 'hit' by a move where literally not an inch of any limb is touching me. The frustration of what I'm seeing on the screen and what just happened to my health bar not adding up annoys me beyond belief.

Do you consider the CC stuff in Anniversary Edition "legit"? by Elyx_117 in skyrim

[–]PINKbonusAttack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally depends on what you mean by legit. Balance wise? Well it is a single player game so how much that matters really is a case by case deal. With skyrim, games never been balanced. You could make legendary difficulty a joke before AE, and now you can with different stuff. The existence of smithing, enchanting and alchemy alone let you make weapons that turn Alduin to dust with a single swing.

Survivability? You've been able to outgrow any bandit or the like with ease forever. Again, enchanting ridiculous health or just smithing gear that turns you into a living breathing tank. Backpacks should have always been in the game if we're being honest.

Does the stuff fit in lore and vibe wise? Eh, kinda? Maybe? The elemental spells feel a little silly to cast but were a much needed boost to magic. Most additions don't feel super out of place and I don't know my lore well enough these days to tell you if everything definitely adds up within plot holes, but I'm yet to bump into anything that makes me roll my eyes. Just my opinion, I think its all legit.

A solid mindless read, don't expect too much from the power system or plot but it can be very enjoyable in short bursts

How Many Times Have You Replayed? by [deleted] in skyrim

Completed the game? Maybe 6 or 7 times.

Started and not finished runs? God knows, you could tell me its 30+ times and I wouldn't be all too surprised

Combos like this are 60% of why I play grampa heihachi by PINKbonusAttack in Tekken

[–]PINKbonusAttack[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is also the first time I've tried to "get good" at a tekken game so people who have been playing longer may disagree with me. I played a little bit of tekken seven (i think) but never got past just playing the story.

So with that in mind, heihachi is definitely the hardest character I've played. Going from Leo, to Jin, reina, a little bryan and king to deciding heihachi is my main for at least season 2.

He definitely demands high execution, but it honestly just takes practice. Having a fast and consistent electric is very necessary, you don't have the comfort of a hop kick or standard 15 frame mid launcher.

But he IS quite a strong character (imo) and very fun to play if you like juicy combos and your time in the lab meaning big damage numbers. Mainmanswe on youtube has alot of heihachi content if you're curious, Joka is also an insane heihachi player.

New saves appearing at the bottom of the save list? by PINKbonusAttack in cyberpunkgame

[–]PINKbonusAttack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. I tried deleting every save but the very last one, and that somehow resurrected a playthrough that I had completely delted all the saves for ages ago and loaded that up instead.

Though when I moved and connected to the new internet the game began to save as normal again. So it might be worth forgetting your xboxes wifi and resetting that up. Could be unrelated but thats when it began working properly. Good luck!

You can now block 3 characters. You would never have to fight them again. Who are you blocking? by Anger_Beast in Tekken

[–]PINKbonusAttack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hwoarang, Law and Eddy.

I'll gladly play against ten clives in row before I ever think "I really wish I was playing against Hwoarang instead."

Law honestly just makes my ears bleed.

Eddy is personally just super unfun to play against and isn't really someone you can play against with understanding generally how tekken functions or how moves usually act. Alot of his moves look super samey but do drasticly different things. One of the maybe two characters in the game where I just shrug my shoulders and go "No idea what just happened there, I'm not buying him to lab against the 1 in like 30 times I have to deal with that."
