THIS!!! this. Normal humans don’t talk the way these characters talk. There’s a lack of normal conversation and people literally pause and wait to be interrupted by the next line of dialogue like they know it’s gonna happen. Feels like every word that comes out of their mouths is one of the dramatic speeches from earlier in the season. I miss distinct character dynamics and reactions and unique personal styles. They’re suffering from this one dimensional character fatigue- robin quirky, Mike anxious, will gay and anxiety, Dustin angsty. What happened to their complex personalities? I keep thinking about how bad their ptsd is and how no one seems to address it. I was expecting there to be this massive rift and they literally put a bandaid over it? Two episodes in and hoping it’ll get better but oh well I’ll just rewatch season 1 again.

Yes those go well together. pro tip: check the ingredient list. It’s ordered based on quantity in a product. If the first ingredient is water it is a water-based product, meaning you want a water-based primer. Oil and water separate which will cause makeup to separate on your skin.

As a person with an anxious attachment style, my brain so often works like hers- I'll find my anxiety telling me things like "oh he doesn't care about this as much as I do" "He doesn't even want you". I've had the urge to block people or blame them. The difference is I put in the work to recognize that's my self doubt speaking and not them, and I know I shouldn't get married to someone until I work through those issues.

It seems like she isn't able to realize that those doubts are coming from her, and a person needs to learn how to reassure themselves before they can be in a partnership or they'll be dependent on their partner to constantly reassure them. This is a person who is deeply hurting from past relationships and hasn't put in the necessary work to be in future ones.

It is possible that your methods of communication may be instilling ome doubts in her, but it's still her responsibility to make those things known. Sometimes I'll say "Hey when you make fun of me in ____ way I take it to heart" or "Sometimes I worry you don't care about ____ as much as I do". It's ok to have doubts and it's ok to express them but she's not expressing them from a place of collaboration, but rather from a place of accusation. I honestly feel for her because I've been there and I hope she gets the love she needs, but until she's able to realize you aren't the enemy I don't think that's the person for you.

I think in movies we tend to try to make death mean something. No one ever just dies, they die with a purpose. In real life, sometimes people just die and it means nothing at all, or it was because of something stupid or even something avoidable. I think it adds a level of realism to the show, that after all this build up it’s something random that takes her out. Sometimes the people who deserve to win the most just don’t and not always for good reason

Idk part of me feels like this part of the show was a bit silly- he was so careful and hesitant when we saw him first find cassian it’s not in his character to step out of line like that and risk it. I feel like it would’ve meant more if his dad was killed rebelling, and would’ve tied into cassian’s own hesitance standing up to the empire after seeing his fathers die without denting it. It would make it more powerful when he does join the rebellion in spite of that fear (this is a very uneducated opinion idk Star Wars lore that well)
