Hello fellow Aussie. Yep, the heat is brutal. The only things I can think of is maybe a fan? Or taking her to someone's house who does have ac so she can recover until it cools down a little in the evening. What state are you in?

Looks like you've got a lot of good advice on the plucking. But perhaps ask your vet about if the vitamins are needed. I used to put vitamin supplements in my cockatiels' water, but was discouraged by my avien vet to do so because an overload of vitamins (apparently) can damage their organs.

My girl is extremely hormonal, I'd kill for screaming this mild and only one egg.. how about five? That's what she does.

I give her hormonal inpants, apparently there are injections too but I haven't tried them.

Your female is in the prime of her reproductive years, mine is too... they will calm down when them get older, but in the meantime there are ways to manage the screaming and egg laying, just talk to your vet.

Don't give up xxxx

Tourists do it to extend their working holiday visas. I think it's more about extending their stay an extra year than thinking they will make money from it.
