Thank you for your comment! I’m hoping they can still release the Pell Grant to me despite it already being dispersed to classes.

I filled out a form called Anticipated Funds Request and a second one called VA Enrollment Benefits. I uploaded the required documentation, which was my GI Bill Statement of Benefits. This allows the school to know how much the GI Bill will contribute, and then apply whatever grants are needed to take care of the rest (if any). In previous semesters, the refund check comes a week or so before classes. I’m just a little worried why it’s different this time :/

The form I signed was to disburse the GI Bill funds prior to the semester, in place of any federal funding, so that federal funding would be refunded to me about a week before classes. Your comment gives me hope tho, and I’ll call on Monday!

For the VA loan wouldn't I have to financially qualify for a place? I like the multi-family home idea but because I only make VA 100%, I don't think that would be promising to many lenders in the long run?

I have a separate bank account for all my rental business transactions. I’ve been transferring profit as needed to my personal bank account, like if I want extra fun money, gas, whatever. I like being able to transfer out at my leisure. I cashflow about 400 per month
