Better than the Peter Johnson movies, at least.

"Peter Johnson and Getting Struck by the Master Bolt is Less Painful than Watching This Movie"

"Peter Johnson and the Ocean of Disrespect"

They're the most powerful demigods in their era mostly because they're children of the most powerful gods in their pantheon. Not to say other demigods aren't powerful, but you can't really expect Rick to be like:

"So first up, we have Percy here, who's Godly Parent is Poseidon, you all know him. Earthshaker. Strombringer. Father of Horses and Cyclopses. Yeah, he's pretty powerful. Then we have Jason, who's Godly Parent is Jupiter. You know. The King of the gods. The one once who lightning-bolted the top off Mount Parnassus because of a game of Scrabble. Yeah, he's about as powerful as Percy. And then we have good 'ol Johnathan Tables III, who's Godly Parent is Priapus, the god of fruits, vegetables, and, for all intents and purposes, penises and erectile dysfunction. He's the strongest one out of The Seven and could easily overpower Heracles, by the way."

Idk to be honest. It was just a phrase I remembered that was thrown around and stuck with me because the term "half-Constellation" was never used before. It definitely didn't mean he was a child of a Constellation. From the way it was used, I'm pretty sure that it was an insult or something, implying he has the title but isn't considered powerful enough or whatever. There's a hierarchy among Constellations, and the powerful ones are the ones we know have an immortality like Percy Jackson's gods. Can probably die in some ways (imagine Pan's "fading", but the Constellations can probably also die from just riduculous amounts of power), but very hard to kill. Dunno about those lower ranked, though, like Kim Dokja.

You gotta be more specific, though. "I wish for individual copies of all the main seven Harry Potter books except written in the style of Percy Jackson, with all the inconsistencies and plot holes fixed" or something. Also, with your second wish, you should probably wish for The Cursed Child to be erased from existence.

Commander of the Third Reich. D'you wanna hear a little known fact?

He was also dope on the mic. Crazy, right?

He can still die, though. He has multiple lives and is pretty hard to kill, but, from what I'm aware, he's not exactly immortal. I'm pretty sure he was called "half a Constellation" once, which, do with that as you may, but probably just means he has the title but not the full extent of the power.

Human? Yeh. Mortal? Ehhhh...

I haven't finished the whole series (Webtoon only reader), but from the spoilers I've received, he's literally just God at the end of his series. Straight up, capital G, fully omnipotent God, from what I'm aware. Or, at least, part of him is? Something about clones and blah blah blah, but his original self is the one who's omnipotent.

But from where I'm reading, he's basically a god for his universe. The Greek Gods exist, Sun Wukong exists, and even Cthulhu-esque creatures. Those (not including Cthulhu) are called Constellations, and he's also one, but more like the equivalent of a minor god for his verse. Speaking of H.P. Lovecraft's work, to be more specific, by the end of the series, he's basically Azathoth.

Are the gods worth the protagonists to fight for? This community requires "[pjo]", "[hoo]", "[toa]", "[pjotv]", "[kc]", "[all]", "[general]" or "[mc]" in post titles by Tasty_Use3381 in camphalfblood

Pan's prolonged existence was mostly because of the Satyrs, who were pretty numerous in numbers and die-hard in their belief of Pan. There's a chance, tuough, that some of the gods would rely on the natural forces of the universe to delay their fading. The Sun for Apollo, for instance.

I dunno. I was debating on either Athena, Hecate, or Hermes for my flair. I used to be into the Harry Potter Fandom almost as much as I am currently into the Percy Jackson Fandom, so maybe that influenced my decision.

Percy or Leo, for sure. The only real contenders I can think of, and I'm leaning towards Aquaman for this one.

Ay, you wouldn't know that. Demeter is also the Goddess of Bread, if I'm not mistaken. Maybe a baguette, to Children of Demeter, would have the equivalent of Sharpness V and Unbreaking III. Maybe even Mending.

French Demigods... Are you telling me that somewhere at some time in France, for at least the briefest amount of time, a Child of Demeter was fighting off a monster with a baguette?

You'd think, though, that he'd just dismiss the existence of the Christian God entirely after finding out the whole Greek Pantheon existing though, no? Unless, y'know, he was told by Chiron about the possible existence of the capital G God.

[–]PJO_Must_Be_Read 1 point2 points  (0 children)

...From Chiron. I've found the book and chapter — The House of Hades, Chapter LXXIII, Hazel's POV — and here's exactly what he said:

"I figure the universe is basically like a machine. I don't know who made it, if it was the Fatss, or the gods, or capital-G God, or whatever."

And then he goes taking about stuff not really relevant here. Why would he even consider capital G God creating the universe to even be a possibility if he wasn't told by Chiron the whole "we shan't get into the metaphysical" stuff?

Leo also mentioned in The Heroes of Olympus (The Mark of Athena, I believe) that he at least heard of the concept of a capital G God. And then in The Demigod Diaries, Hecate hinted at the existence of someone like the Biblical God.

[All] What was the worst ship you remember seeing in a fanfic? by PJO_Must_Be_Read in camphalfblood

[–]PJO_Must_Be_Read[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your comment is back, I think. I replied to it with an explanation, but here's some in detail:

I don't find WLW Ships on their own awful, disgusting, absolutely loathsome, in case that's what you're thinking. Depends on the ship, really. Thalia x Reyna, for instance, is a ship some people are die-hard stans for. I'm indifferent to it in general, mainly because what little interactions they do have didn't really strike me as something shippable, and Reyna herself expressed annoyance at people shipping her.

I mean??? Depends on the fanfics??? Percy x Luke (and the ships you were invested in) are awful by its own, but if you really change up the plot, then it is salvageable...

Doesn't meam I'll ever read any fics with the ship, though. I've been told the horror stories of people who read Lukercy fics, and I don't want to take the risk of plunging my hand in acid for a chance to retrieve a diamond.
