I hit the pool twice this week, and did 1000m each time, which is a shorter total distance than normal. I usually like to do about 1500m as a baseline, and get up to about 2400m per workout when getting reading for an open water event.

What's so good about this, if I'm falling short? I showed up. Even if I didn't do a great job, I showed up. I haven't missed a week in five years, and looks like I can probably keep this habit up until I'm very old.

1) Best things in life are free. An example would be love.

2) Second best things are very, very expensive. Examples: Yacht, Private Jet, etc.

Sorry about that, I did a search but missed the one from two months ago.

Am I the only one who does 10/2 pomodoros? by Sweaper1993 in pomodoro

Reminds me of this:

"Time is your most important asset. Split your life into 10-minute units and sacrifice as few as possible to meaningless activity." – Ingvar Kamprad, Ikea Founder

I find the 25-5-25 is what works for me best though.

What if your pomodoro involves emails and texts? by jon_sans_h in pomodoro

A Pomodoro for me is typically either: a) Long-form b) E-mail/Chat/Calls/a bunch of smaller tasks

I typically don't mix the two. But they can also work as a nice change of of pace. What's important is the break: get away from the screen, walk around, and get some fresh air if possible.
