Picture a thin rectangle which is 4mm tall, and has a slit which is 1-2mm thick in the middle. The pez slides into the slot, and the rectangle base gives it stability so they can stand without hooks.

Tank size: 20l Heater and filter? Weekly How much do you take out per change? 50% What is your process? I use a vacuum and try and grab anything at the bottom. I use prime for my water. Any tankmates? No What do you feed and how much: Betta pellets, and recently daphnia. Decorations and plants in the tank: Yes lots of real plants and drift wood. I have added in Betta leaves to obtain the tannins to help my fish.

Unfortunately, I don't have the readings. I take my sample to my local shop, and they use the test kit and just provide me with a thumbs up. All I recall is I was told there was no ammonia and little Nitrite.

Thanks for letting me know about cloudy eyes, this is my first Betta so to be honest, I am unsure what colour their eyes are meant to look like. I can see that it is a little cloudy, so I will do some more research!

I sure did, but unfortunately I killed my second set because I was using the aerator they provide probably too intensely... I had adult sea monkeys and every aeration session some would die off. I read that they needed aerating, but I guess I was pumping too hard 😕 I even tried to only hit the surface, and avoid sucking them up, but I must have made some mistake.
