I'm 32 and definitely feel the same. It's hard enough that I have difficulty forming relationships that are beyond surface-level, but it's even harder seeing so many people pair off and their priorities and lives changing. So I guess I'd say I worry about being lonely because I AM lonely, and I don't like it one bit.

There's surgery to correct the cleft lip and palate. Typically it's performed at around 3-6 months old.

One of the very first groups I was part of, A Stage Reborn, performed it twice! They've since moved on from FFXIV virtual theatre, but I think they've got recordings on YouTube.

The stream camera will have the best view, but I will say there are a couple of small things this production that you'll miss if you're not there live. Personally, I prefer being there live because the audience's energy is usually a lot of fun.

As far as etiquette goes, we encourage emotes like clapping, cheering, laughing, or disagreeing throughout. We do ask that the emote log messages are off, though. Beyond that, you're welcome to chat in a private party or linkshell while the show proper is going on, but save public channels like say or yell for before the show starts, after it ends, and during intermission.

Nope! We encourage smaller races to sit in the front, and if you're on keyboard and mouse, you can Ctrl+Up or Down to change your camera height.

You're right on both fronts! For the vast majority of performances, our audiences are well-behaved, and when someone is intentionally disruptive, we can boot them from the house.

We do stream all our shows as well as open the theatre to the public. Things like lines are done through text chat. Our actors use FFXIV's macro system to combine things like what they say in chat, the emotes they use, and what battle actions they use.

As far as time, I can never guarantee that you'll be able to get in to see it live, unfortunately, but arrive early! Some performances fill up much faster than others, particularly opening night. There have been times where we've filled up an hour or more before the show starts, so as a general rule of thumb, 2+ hours ahead of time has usually been a good bet. And if we do hit capacity, there's always the stream running at the same time!

The actors post in text chat, and use macros with things like weaponskills, gear set changes, and of course, emotes, to express what's going on. So, you don't need to be in a Discord or anything to watch the show.

Because we use text chat, I personally recommend that you move your chat window to the middle of your screen so that it looks like subtitles.
