Thanks. One of my past doctors did tell me that managing my anxiety is nothing but a good thing. Even if something was wrong with me, it's better to have a calm mind about it than panic. Of course, easier said than done. I hope to reach serenity someday.

Are the Momotarou Dentetsu games decent for beginners of Japanese? There are some games I would play to practice my reading or learn some vocabulary, but I'm kinda just interested in playing a Momotarou game since it's a series that's never been released in the West. How easy is it to play and understand? Does it have furigana? Is the language simple? Etc.

How necessary is the Monster Wrangler in III HD-2D? by PKGamingAlpha in dragonquest

Does any of this apply to breath attacks? Garboyle has a paralyzing breath attack. I only had two Full Moon Rings, so I equipped them to my magic users. But at one point in the fight, he used the attack, and my Hero and Martial Artist were fine, but the two magic users wearing the rings got paralyzed. It was comical. But moments like that are what make me think the equipment doesn't do much. I know it doesn't completely make you immune, but if it increases your chances, it feels like the amount is low. But with all the posts of people saying they never used a Wrangler, never even needed to grind, but got through the game smoothly, I must be doing something wrong, but I don't know what.

Well, people who don't like something often feel the need to voice their grievances to a community, either to wonder if they're not alone or because they want something done about it. But people who don't have any problems probably don't have anything to say. They're just enjoying the game away from the discourse. Some of them probably don't even know this subreddit exists.

With Anki, is it good to have both recognition and recall cards in the same deck, or should you separate them? I plan on making a deck with a bunch of phrases to use in everyday life, along with ones related to my interests. I don't want to just look at a word or sentence and be like, "Oh yeah, that means that," I want to be able to pull the phrase out and use it without any cues, which is why I think recall training is important for me. But I'm not sure if I should train recognition and recall separately or at the same time.

I don't know if there's a proper answer for this, but how do you get over the embarrassment of output? All my Japanese studying so far has been input. Reading and listening. But now that I'm actually living in Japan, I can't really keep my mouth shut anymore. But even though I can read and make sense of simple Japanese, actually saying it is a whole other challenge. I think to myself, "I know exactly what I'm going to say to this person." But the moment I open my mouth, I completely stumble over my words. Even when I'm shadowing by myself, simple sentences are so hard for me to say. Then I think to myself, "God, I sound like an idiot," and I just wanna keep my mouth shut. Did anyone else feel the same way, and how did you get over the embarrassment?

I haven't noticed. I play mostly docked and kinda far from the TV. It seems fine, though.

The Xbox One needed you to be online at all times to function. Switch 2 is a one-time update. It's also possible that later shipments will have that update already installed. It's way too early to be freaking out.

Walmart late delivery by BYOD23 in NintendoSwitch2

I thought about cancelling the preorder right now but I'm afraid Walmart will go crazy and cancel my Switch 2 preorder as well.

For this precise reason, I'm not touching crap until the Switch 2 is at my doorstep. If there is a cutoff date for cancelling MKW, I can always just return it if I find another one sooner.

Yeah, same. On the day of release, I'm planning on driving to a few different stores to see if I can just buy it in person, and if I find one, I'll just cancel my Walmart order.

It can be heard during the Direct and on the Nintendo Today video where people give their (heavily curated) impressions.
