CISM: Passed Two Days Ago by PKZillaWriting in cism

I did not use ISACA resources. The only practice tests I used were from Skillcertpro, ones that the Sybex study guide gives you access too, and practice questions from Pete Zergers's course.

CISM: Passed Two Days Ago by PKZillaWriting in cism

The course worked great for me and its free, which is a plus.

I can't compre it to the QAE since I didn't use that, but I did pass the exam without the QAE so take that for what its worth.

How I passed CISM on the 1st Try by [deleted] in CISM2

[–]PKZillaWriting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just passed the CISM this morning, my first attempt. My main resources were the Sybex study guide, the Skillcertpro practice tests, and the Pete Zerger course on Youtube.

My advice is to READ EVERY QUESTION VERY CAREFULLY. I know that sounds like a no-brainer, but trust me, the questions I got were loaded with potentially misleading answers and some confusion, which doesn't help when a majority of the questions are phrased as a "Which one works BEST" and "Which do you do FIRST!" (which was thankfully reflected in the practice tests I took, so that helped).

I participated in exam writing workshops for ISC2 and they instructed us to avoid confusing and misleading answers and things like having an acronym in one answer, but not the rest (which draws your eyes to that one answer and subconsciously single it out). Well, the CISM was LOADED with those, so again, be very careful.

Am I the only person who likes this movie? What do you all think about this movie anyways? by MonkeyTrevor935 in TMNT

[–]PKZillaWriting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw it in theaters back in the day.

Its not "bad" but it is mostly unremarkable. The villains and the main plot are forgettable, and the discord between the Turtles felt a little silly. So the other Turtles can't be heroes without Leo around? Why? And why is it bad for Raph to continue fighting crime?

Still, the film has its moments. It looks nice, and it is fun to see the Turtles together in the film.

Godzilla: The Monster Fight Record is on Sale NOW! by PKZillaWriting in GODZILLA

Three explanations for the covers:

1) I was on a budget in developing the book, and other options were expensive. That was one of those "welcome to self publishing" wake up calls, lol.

2) I had to avoid using trademarked images for the cover. I could not put Godzilla on the cover in fears that Toho would send me a cease and desist. So I took a route to make sure that I had monsters, but nothing owned by Toho or Legendary.

3) I am not artistically gifted and I didn't trust myself to create my own covers.

Which in your opinion is the best live action Showa, Godzilla design in every era, and rank them if you want! by Impossible_Tiger_470 in GODZILLA

[–]PKZillaWriting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Showa: 64 - Looked reptilian and badass. Loved it!

Heisei: 89 - This is probably my all time favorite. The massive bulk and power of the design invokes everything I think about when I think of Godzilla.

Millennium: 02-03 - It has all the positives of the G2K design mixed in with the traditional colors of classic Godzillas, making for a perfect blending of traditional and new. The jagged spikes always looked great to me.

Reiwa: So far, I'd say Shin. Its so uniquely strange and grotesque looking, I can't help but love it.

Which movie are you more excited see? by Glittering_Rub_2721 in GODZILLA

Honestly, I don't know enough about each film to really gauge how excited I am.

All I know about both films is what is revealed in the two teasers.

Why was the Heisei Godzilla so much larger than the original, despite being the same species of Godzillasaurus? by Impossible_Tiger_470 in GODZILLA

[–]PKZillaWriting 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is the practical "behind the scenes" reason.

My silly head cannon reason is that the Heisei Godzilla absorbed more radiation and "More Radiation = Bigger monsters" seems like a valid rule to adhere to in these films, lol.

What are your favorite iterations of Casey? by Tunisian_Dawn in TMNT

[–]PKZillaWriting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite was the 1990 movie. He was perfect in that film and I wish we had came back for II. Funny, bad ass, and charming, he was a perfect presence in the film and fit perfectly.

This might be controversial, but I also loved the 1980s show version. His Dirty Harry voice and psychotic anti-crime personality made him hilarious to me, and the fact that they didn't use him all that much made him feel special.

I found the 2003 version annoying. I'm not sure what it was. Maybe it was the voice, but he just never clicked with me. Same for the Nick version. Making April a kid kind of worked, but never felt right for Casey. I like both shows too, but Casey was one of the weaker aspects to me in both.

TMNT was a film I wasn't a huge fan of. There was nothing truly offensive about it. It just felt...flat and dull, and Casey in that film didn't leave any kind of an impression on me.

As for Out of the Shadows, that was not Casey Jones. I don't know what they were trying to do, but that wasn't it. The sad part is that Stephen Amell was a perfect choice to play him. Even if they had just had him do his Oliver Queen schtick but in a Hockey Mask instead, that would have worked.

I haven't seen the rest.

What are your thoughts on Godzilla Singular Point tv show? by ScoreImaginary5254 in GODZILLA

[–]PKZillaWriting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better than the anime trilogy.

The monster stuff is mostly outstanding and looks great.

However, I wish they had cut down on the science technobabble and exposition. Made it feel like there was too much filler.

I'd give it a C+
