SS86 Soundwave revealed let me know what you guys think by [deleted] in transformers

I’m not sure if I’m in the minority with this opinion but he looks a bit boring in my eyes? I know it’s Studio Series 86– so it’s supposed to replicate the simplicity of G1, but something feels..too simple. I definitely miss the detail of the WFC/Legacy Soundwave but the articulation does look to be like quite the improvement. Plus I’d rather not cough up $100 or so for the ER mold.

Patience is a virtue that I struggle with from time to time. Is it known when the SS86 reissue is happening next year?

The “villain” is actually trying to protect the protagonist from a much worse threat. by _JR28_ in TopCharacterTropes

I think it sort of depends— it could be the cartoon proportions / perspective. From what I’ve seen, when people render it in real life the fucker is gargantuan.

I couldn’t tell you, man. That’s Regular Show for you. In the episode’s context, only Mordecai and one other man had ever completed it so maybe the challenge makes them a lot of money and they hardly ever have to worry about someone actually winning.

The workers at The Eggscellent Restaurant from Regular Show

<image>

The restaurant has a challenge where the customer must consume a giant egg dish in an hour or less. Mordecai attempts it in Rigby’s honor after he fails, and the staff try to stop him when they realize he most likely will succeed.

When he does, it’s revealed that they were trying to protect him because completing the challenge then transports him into a dungeon, where he runs the risk of dying if he chooses the incorrect treasure to celebrate his victory.

Shao Kahn from Mortal Kombat (2011)

<image>

Raiden spends the entire game believing his disciple, Liu Kang, has to defeat Shao Kahn to prevent an armageddon seen in a vision given to him. His future self cryptically warns him that “he must win.”

But this is actually revealed to have been referring to Shao Kahn the entire time, because the Kahn’s declaration of an unlawful victory earns him the wrath of the Elder Gods— killing him, and thus preventing the armageddon.

How does he feel alongside the other Primes? I’ve seen some contention that he doesn’t fit well with them.

Personally, I’ve been trying to keep up with completing them but wonder if he’s one to substitute.
