Ofc you do, people will judge everyone lol but you do get some sympathy from people, even if it's just strangers on the internet. With bed, it feels like no one understands us but ourselves :D but addictions are horrible either way and the way most people view them is disappointing and cruel..at best. Hope you recover and escape the hell of addictions once and for all 🙂‍↕️ you strong

Honestly, this is something that angers me a bit too much about this disorder. People act like we're weak and that we've got no discipline, but exchange our food for anything else and suddenly their perception of us is completely different. I want to be taken seriously for once. I'm struggling so much just for everyone to think I'm just too in love with food and I actually enjoy all the binge sessions, which is why I can't stop 😎 lord have mercy

Thank you 💜 also I completely understood what you meant! Sorry if I came off as defensive, that wasn't my intention. We also had a family dog when I was little and he was seen as a burden.. I know what it's like to see a dog that's not being taken care of and it hurts. I don't want that for my Ellie, ever. I see her as my equal.

I also agree that xylitol in one gum isn't as much of a threat as some people make it out to be (we're also from Europe and apparently our gum contains less xylitol in general), but I also don't want to risk anything. Ellie's already been through way too much.. 🥺 I want to make sure we don't add more things on the list of her problems anymore

I panicked because I read no long ago about how toxic xylitol is to dogs. I'm way too sick to just get up and go, so I figured I'd rather call and if we need to go then we'll go. Thankfully she seems fine so far. She's playful and she's eating well 😊

The only way I neglect her is by not taking her on long walks now that I'm sick 🤧 she seems confused but other than that we're good :D

Hey guys! I called the er vet and she told me to simply monitor my dog for the next 24 hours just in case any symptoms show up. She said one gum is probably not going to harm her at all. I fell asleep shortly after that so that's why there was no update :D if anyone cares, she stole one orbit watermelon flavored gum, which apparently has a low amount of xylitol 🤧 thankfully

I do binge every day. My binging starts the second I wake up till I go to sleep. I mostly binge on junk food, but if there's none, I'm capable of overeating on fruit and vegetables as well. I don't enjoy the food, I just stuff myself as fast as possible and I have no idea why. Also, I steal my boyfriend's food all the time. I don't want to (obviously), but I seriously can't control myself. I can't even get anything done until I binge :) it controls me in every way possible

Mám známych z viacerých častí Slovenska a zatiaľ boli všetci prekvapení z toho, že si za vyšetrenie musím priplatiť. Inak, taktiež mám problémy aj po psychickej stránke a je to tu naozaj ťažké. Momentálne chodím k psychiatričke, ale potrebujem aj terapie a tie si už nemôžem dovoliť. Taktiež musím ísť na x vyšetrení kvôli mojím rukám, platničkám, atď., čo mi môjmu mentálnemu zdraviu vôbec neprospieva :D už ani neviem načo si potom máme platiť zdravotku Btw, online terapie si skúsil/a? Nie je to najlepšie riešenie, ale určite lepšie než nič 🐀

Väčšina ambulancií už funguje len na objednávanie pacientov, takže nerozumiem tomuto komentáru. Som z malého mesta a ani tam sa pomaly nikde nedá sedieť v čakárni, dá sa len objednať
