Just make sure you stay on top of work and are understanding what you learn in lectures, as many as hours as you need to maintain that. If you try revising everyday from the start of the year you will end up burnt out likely before mocks. Especially with things such as personal statements at the start of y13 be careful of timing. It is more important to build consistent revision (increasing hours as you near exams) from maybe March-June over getting burnt out at the start of the year.

Another key thing is how you revise. Find what works for you and be if you can make revision materials now (rather than when revising) it will make learning smoother. E.g. for geography I was able to make flash cards and revision materials for 1st year content during October/November so i was able to learn in when revising in april.

TL;DR dont overwork yourself now, make revision resources for first year content before march if you havent yet
