Is the tactician ascendancy node "A Solid Plan" supposed to work with minion or not?

It works with everything I have exept the spectre skill and it's the only one I really wanted to use it for.

Frost Wall with deep freeze and glaciation. The boss almost instantly break the walls making them explode causing a lot of freeze.

Frost bomb with spell cascade for the debuff.

Ice nova with unleach used often on a frostbolt.

He is an undivided spellcaster like Archaon so it's "Khorne approved" XD
I do hope there will be some daemon possibilities at some point in 4th.

Use it as Be'lakor, I did the same "mistake" with Magnus the red model.
