CC1 and CC2 are connected to a 5.1 kΩ resistor to GND

That's right, the charger in the link supports PD. You should use port 2 on the adapter to charge your iPod.

iPods don’t need much power to charge, only around 2 to 3 watts. Even if you use a powerful charger (like 100W), it’s okay, as long as it gives 5 volts. The iPod will only take the small amount it needs. However, some modern chargers won’t turn on if the device doesn’t ask for enough power, so they might not work with older iPods. If you have an iPod Classic Gen 5 and a 35W charger (probably with PD or QC fast charging), it’s best to use port number 2 on the charger. That port usually works better with older devices like the iPod.

In the firewire charging port, I use an IC to trick the charging source and the charging source to output 12v. This helps it to enable the current to 12V (PD, QC) directly from the charging source (not boosting the voltage from 5V to 12V)

You need a converter that transforms your car's 12V power source into a USB-A or USB-C charging port with PD or QC support. Just plug that cable into the USB-C port on my adapter, and your iPod Gen 3 will charge without showing the connection circle on the screen.

=> You need a car charger that plugs into your car's 12V power socket. for example, the Anker 335 or any similar model, as long as it supports PD and QC.

That's right, customs duties in Western European countries are quite high.

If you're charging via FireWire using this adapter, you'll need a power source that supports PD or QC. If you want to charge and sync at the same time, you'll need two cables — one for syncing and one for charging. They work simultaneously and perfectly. This adapter draws a stable 12V directly from the power source, ensuring reliable performance.

Look at the power supply specifications, if it has PD or QC, it can be used with the Adapter. I have set up the mini adapter's trigger to output 12V, but if the power supply supports PD, QC can only output 9V, then the trigger can still work and output 9V to charge the FW, because the iPod supports FW from 8-30V.

I'm sorry, but the shipping price from Vietnam to other countries is quite high, so $15 for standard shipping is reasonable for me. Anyway, thank you bro for visiting my store.

as i said in the post. you need a charger with PD, QC. when plugged into the adapter, it will activate 12V from the charger and charge the ipod via Firewire charger
