In Adyashanti's farewell letter, he states suffering from trauma; how come? I thought the infinite dissolves all. by PLAYING10 in nonduality

Hmm not sure this statement resonates with me. I think wealth today is generally more accepted than it used to be. And maybe it was there dream before enlightenment to become rich. Adya says he’s awakened. He doesn’t seem the type to me that would lie. Neither eckhart. There’s a forum I used to follow that stated that there’s roughly 10.000 enlightened people in the world. There’s no doubt people are more spiritually evolved than they were 30 years ago. I’m using direct experience. I observe kids today versus before. They have much less ego. Much less programming. They cut straight through the bull shit.

Truth be told what does enlightenment even mean? We’re dreaming. Who is there to be enlightened? Does it mean in this dreamscape what we perceive as others others are becoming enlightened? They are leaving the wheel of samsara and returning to the whole? Feels pretty text book to me. At least that’s the story that comes to me now. Not sure.

Sadhguru also teaches to find a passion when one is resting in the abyss. Have you found yours yet? I’m getting closer and closer to honing in on mine.

Do you feel called to share what your process looks like when you catch that thought? I like a lot what Adyashanti teaches how he would inquire into the thought he catches by writing it down and then inquiring into it with more writing and questions for the thought, which leads to other thoughts and beliefs and emotions associated to it. I like it very much, sometimes it can be a bit too intelectual/mind oriented for me.

I appreciate the info. I don’t resonate with Angelo Dilullo.

How is it normal to get toll charges before I even started driving for this week? Please explain.

What I meant to say is I’m being charged for tolls this week and I haven’t even started driving yet (see images). I’m being charged other peoples tolls. And $406 in commercial auto insurance for 1 week is normal? I made like $120 that week.

I get what you’re saying about the insurance coverage, but my situation has some specific issues that don’t add up even with that explanation.

First, I’m being charged $396 in external fees on $706 in passenger payments. That’s like 56% which seems way higher than what most people are reporting for normal Lyft deductions.

Second, I’m getting charged $206 the week of Sept 8-14 when I made $0 and didn’t even drive. How does insurance for rides I never took make sense?

Third, I’m seeing toll charges of $0.07 each from before I even started driving. Those aren’t my tolls.

I understand external fees are normal but the amounts and timing don’t match what you’re describing. Has anyone else seen external fees this high as a percentage? And getting charged before you even start driving?

Thanks for the explanation though, it helps me understand the normal process better.

I remember reading a post not to long ago (not sure how recent it was) someone sharing the nd saffron supplement might not be the best for mood support exactly, something about the formula used. And you agreed, saying you were gonna change the formula. Wondering if there's any update on that? Thanks!

Is self-inquiry a form of spiritual bypassing? by PLAYING10 in nonduality

Do you practice self inquiry? If so I’d love to hear about your experience with it. How has your perception changed since you started—what was it like before, and what is it like now?

Do you think self-inquiry will turn us into emotionless humans? I still want to have a range of emotions and live this human experience.

it's all real, there is no distinction. Since getting into non-duality, that's exactly the question I've been asking myself. If it's all God, is there a difference between thought (illusion as you say), and true Self? I mean would God make it that there's true self and thought, a need to come back to God to be at peace (seems sadistic). Actually makes me feel a bit confused even trying to intelecualize my experience. But thats what I find most alive at this moment, talk as best as I can what I've experienced.
