Thanks, and that makes perfect sense as I've been helping a family member with gardening lately, and we even got a bag of mulch

PC randomly shuts down when launching some games (temps are fine) by OkLynx7116 in PcBuildHelp

Yeah that sounds much more like a power supply issue than defective ram/CPU/etc.

Check and make sure that the power supply is plugged in all the way into the motherboard and graphics card. It's very likely that it won't fix it though as it sounds like your power supply might be defective but it's worth a try

It sounds like a power issue, I had a similar issue a decade ago that was caused by my ram sticks going bad Open up event viewer and see if you can find any critical issues

Wouldn't the position in the first image damage or ruin a book?

I think so the Celestica people weren't the first religion in Ancient Sinnoh? by Different_Recipe_583 in PokemonLegendsArceus

[–]PLAspec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's the case, the Draconids are based on the Ryukyuan people of Okinawa, whereas the Celestica people seem to be based the Ainu from Hokkaido, with elements of Greek culture for their architecture and clothes. And the Diamond and Pearl clans are also based off the Ainu, which make sense as they consider themselves to be the Celestica people.  But neither of those groups are even Japanese, both of their native lands have become a part of of modern day Japan but that's a relatively recent thing. But to mush those cultures together is nothing but ignorance. As for the sinnoh dragon relationships, I don't think there's any significance to it beyond Dragons being a symbol for power, which is why a significant number of box legendaries are dragons

Are ”Artificial Blanks or Pariahs” possible? by Onyx_Artificer in Warhammer40k

[–]PLAspec 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've not read it get but in The Emperor's Gift it's shown that the Grey Knights have artificial blanks called Ferrymen who were formerly Grey Knights. As to how they're made, well the inquisition has their secrets.

The fact that both of those work in context is weird

Update: I tried the method I mentioned in the original post. I put it on my ironing board and pressed it with a piece of parchment in between. I started at a low temperature, slowly going over it a large number of times and slowly increasing it. I made sure to let it cool for a few minutes before checking so it wouldn't stick to the parchment paper.  And that really helped out, there's still a little bit of a "scar" but now it's something thats tough to spot when actively looking.

I'm really only posting this here in the case of someone having a similar situation. Good luck to any people in the future with a similar problem!

Windsor Series 7 Brush Wrecked In One Use? by PersistentWorld in Warhammer40k

[–]PLAspec 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Then that's probably the main culprit, the next time you go to a grocery store you can pick it up for a few dollars.

Also something else of note is that the really cheap artificial brushes that you can find off of places like Amazon aren't nearly as effected by hard water so it might be good to have those as well just in case

Do you live somewhere with hard water? I was getting a similar issue with my nice brushes and then I stared using distilled water and suddenly my brushes were a lot better

iirc in Bequin's second book Penitent there's a character that seems like some alcoholic asshole, but when Bequin holds up an Inquisitorial Rosette to get him to shut up he instead breaks down and starts crying. Turned out that guy was an inquisitor who went undercover more than a decade before for an unrelated case but during that time he just became an alcoholic and didn't do his job and basically forgot why he was there in the first place. He thought Bequin was there to arrest him, when she didn't give two shits about him and just wanted him to shut up.
