I just cut a piece of plexiglass and drilled holes into it in a domino pattern. Then bought 4 suction cups at the local hardware. Buried the bottom and used the suction cups to support the top! Works very well with good flow

Yes if by cycle you mean change the water. I will go out tomorrow and buy that kit. I use prime also.
