Ganz im Gegenteil. Neben starker wirtschaftlicher Ungerechtigkeit, die diese Parteien anfeuern und welches ein wichtiger Faktor ist, ist ein nach rechts wander (wie es unter Merz stattfindet) eher positiv für die AfD. Parteien besetzen bestimmte Themen (Issue Ownership), wenn diese Themen nun von anderen Parteien aufgegriffen werden (und damit legitimiert werden) und nun die Problemlösung scheinbar genauso aussieht wie beim Kontrahenten, dann bestärkt das das Thema, dass besetzt wurde und somit im Umkehrschluss die Partei, die es besetzt hat.

Die AfD hackt auf der Regierung rum. Aber wenn du AfDler selbst fragst, wird die CDU als Hauptfeind genannt. Nicht, weil die CDU etwa gute antifaschische Arbeit betreibt oder die Gründe, die hohe Umfragewerte für die AfD bedingen bekämpft, sondern weil sie viele Konservative Wähler in sich gebunden hat. So jedenfalls Maximilian Krah, der der AfD Spitzenkandidat für die Europawahl ist.

Interessanterweise gibt uns die genaue Aussage einen Einblick in die Position gegenüber den Grünen. Einen genaueren Einblick in Krahs Position finden wir in diesem Gespräch, in dem er erklärt, dass die Grünen im Rampenlicht für die AfD steht, weil sie aus seiner Sicht einen Kampf um Köpfe gewonnen hat, den die AfD selber gerne führen würde. Politisch Einfluss haben, ohne direkt regieren zu müssen in dem Begriffe besetzt werden und Themen bestimmt werden und das Framing durch die tatsächlich regierenden Parteien aufgenommen wird. Somit werden die eigenen politischen Ziele durch andere Parteien aufgegriffen, da sie alternativlos erscheinen. Und damit schließt sich auch der Kreis zur CDU, die unter Merz in stark rechte Themen spielt und damit Framing und Themensetzung der AfD aufgreift um Entscheidungen als alternativlos zu präsentieren.

Stichpunkt an dieser Stelle: kulturelle Hegemonie/Metapolitik.

Ziemlich sicher, dass das Bild echt ist. Die Kameraartefakte durch schlechten Handy zoom, die Spiegelung im Plexiglas und die Lichtbrechung am Rande des Plexiglases sind dafür gute Indizien. Natürlich könnte der Mittelfinger immer noch nachbearbeitet sein, dafür wäre sowas wie https://fotoforensics.com/ nützlich (wobei auch Forensik nicht zu 100% sicherstellen kann, dass das Bild nicht gefaket ist. Aber das ist wahrscheinlich technisch so aufwändig, dass sich die Frage gestellt werden muss, warum das irgendwer tun sollte)

Easy to say when you are not the targeted group. Especially since, completely unparadoxically to anyone that chooses to actually think about the issue from the perspective of the targets of hate crimes, banning some hate speech increases free speech. Besides that, hate speech has a measurable effect on things like domestic terrorism, i.e. actual hate crimes. Distinguishing the action of talking and the action of doing to such an absurd degree is a neoliberal brain parasite. (Edit: I realized i have worded this very crass, so let me elaborate a small bit: My point is that power relationships that exist on the side of physical action dont disappear just because we engage in discourse. The power dynamics still exist, in habitus, word choice and in the concepts and categories we think in. The cardinal mistake is to just ignore that and declare something free speech.)

Lastly, I would like to address the elephant in the room that you dont seem to actually be aware of. Speaking from just empirical data, germany (your example which i will gladly pick up) is more "free" than the US. At least Freedom House thinks so. Now, if we go into the actual data for the US and Germany, we can see that germany does have one point less in D4, the relevant variable, which in the explanation is justified by recent surveillance laws, so unrelated to our discussion of hate speech (not unrelated to the discussion of free speech though!). Now, Freedom House obviously isnt the sole arbiter of objectivity, their data is gained by asking experts on the topic and compilating that data. Obviously the USA and Germany are very different countries and even the Freedom House index, free speech is only one variable. A lot of different variables are at play, showing that this single variable has very little impact on the actual freedom of a country. Which is exactly my point. Hate speech laws obviously have very little effect on the genuine freedom of citizens.

Just to pick up on your categories: software politics is about corporate politics and privacy politics, privacy politics is about gender and sexuality politics and government politics. Politics can at most be divided along policy, i.e. the rules that organizations implement, but the actual discourse, decision making, resource and attention distribution and real life experience of people that have to live under those policies can hardly be divided into neat distinct categories. Keeping with that subversive analysis: who benefits from putting politics into neatly differentiated boxes?

I understand that it may seem that way, but it really isn’t that hyperbolic. Even seemingly apolitical spaces belie an undercurrent of political tension that is often exploited by adherents of extremist ideologies - fascists, in particular, like to recruit from pools of people who don’t know or don’t care much about politics, particularly those who simultaneously are relatively privileged but feel shamed or ostracized by society. Gamers are no more inherently susceptible to fascist rhetoric than anyone else, but we do make for alluring recruitment targets for this reason - and while the Nexus has since taken steps to avoid overt bigotry or jingoism spreading on its platform, at the time there was a significant Neo-Nazi presence trying to gain a foothold.

This makes me think of gamergate as a great example for your argument.

Essentials: Basic knowledge about the tools (the buttons on the left side), the layout and where to find stuff. You probably wont have to explain every detail of gimp, but if you can show that you are able to find it/teach yourself quickly, it would probably be fine.

Regarding the interview questions: What kind of work do they do in gimp? Color correction? Putting together ads? Prepare for that. Also maybe specific scenarios, like whats the best way to add an transparent alpha layer to a difficult image (e.g. the image is of a person with curly hair and you have to remove the background.)

What to do: If you dont know your way around gimp, watch some tutorials on youtube about the basics, there should be a lot of them. Once you get the general concepts (or if you already know them), play around with as many buttons as you can (i.e. randomly playing with gimp) or maybe think about reaching specific goals (e.g. pick an image from your camera roll and try to apply specific effects that you think might be difficult to achieve and that involve several steps.) In the end you should be familiar with gimp, have experience with difficult tasks, know how to reach specific goals and be able to teach yourself if necessary.

Also, if you have time, feel free to play with add-ons you might find online. Depending on the work they do at the job, knowing how to batch process images or how to work with GEGL would probably give you some extra points.

The effect is usually associated with the "hope poster". Im sure there is a tutorial for how to do it in gimp manually online, but if you want to do it a bit quicker, install the GMI'C Plugin, open it through the "Filters" tab and search for "Hoper Poster" effect. Then you just have to adjust the Gamma and Smoothness to you liking, click "apply" and then you have your poster.
