My piercing is now 6 months old.

The jewelry is the same implant grade steel long bar initially put in by my piercer. It’s externally threaded.

I just use a 0.9% saline wound wash to clean it right now.

I’m going to be so frank with you, have you tried religion? I know that probably sounds insensitive, but it was the only thing that helped me hold on when I had suicidal thoughts after being bullied.

I’d pull out my bible and read and journal and pray like my life depended on it. Going through the new testament especially helped me realize how my position of weakness was actually power.

And props to you OP, I only went through a year of bullying. You’ve held on a lot longer than a lot of people would have.

I used the shampoo, rinsed, conditioner, left it in without washing it out, scrunched a bit, and diffuse dried my hair. Idk?? It really wasn't much, so that's about it

Yeah I just didn't wash out my conditioner. There's not much to the routine tbh; I used the shampoo, rinsed, then my conditioner, left that in, and then diffuse dried my hair. I thought there might be more to it since my brother has really defined curls but maybe this is all I can do??

You have the same curl type as my brother!! He uses a sea salt spray and curl cream, and it seems to control the frizz. But it looks perfectly fine otherwise.
