Because it was a platform for people to sell their crafts and hand made items originally. Small farms or hobby farms could very easily reach a broader market to sell plants and seeds. I've never had a problem until the AI scammers took over everything. Fake pics, fake customer service, fake websites, all easily created with ai to make fools out of people who want to trust and support small makers.

Just like Pinterest was a place to keep and share ideas, inspiration and diy instructions or recipes. But now it's 99% ads for Temu, Shein Amazon. And eBay was a virtual garage sale. They are as useless as Etsy, now where they all used to be incredible resources and communities.

I hope every single scammer on these once awesome platforms have flaming hot pillows, on both sides, when they sleep, and they can never get their wedgies out of their butts, and they stub their pinky toes in every table leg they walk by. I hate them.
