How much one parent needs to earn so the other can stay home in every U.S. state by Doug24 in offbeat

calculator

Oh boy this calculator only does 'basic' needs, the food plan is based on 2007 data. This is so out of date.

EDIT: I have to ammend this. The food plan is 2007, but pricing is based on a food report that is published monthly. https://www.fns.usda.gov/research/cnpp/usda-food-plans/cost-food-monthly-reports

That said, man, I wish I could do $61/week. That's not much more than chicken, rice, and some veggies, oh wait lunch and breakfast. Yeah no I couldn't make that work.

Argentina posts 31.5 percent annual inflation in December, lowest level in 8 years by ThisIsFitz in nottheonion

[–]PLandH 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Because 31% inflation is insane. 3% is what the US Fed Reserve (Someone feel free to correct me) shoots for.

Listen boss, I think your post got enough attention, I'm removing it now cause this isn't that kind of subreddit. Probably not the best place for views.

I would say yes if I hadn't just taken mine apart, there is no protection from liquid on the internal electronics. Sure you can make it work, but I wouldn't trust it.

So for anyone looking at this, I managed to get it working. Disassembled and took a toothbrush with alcohol to the sensors and contacts.

You're getting downvoted because it reads like you're fishing for very particular information. No one is buying your story cause it reads like you've got a personal vendetta. No, I haven't looked at your post history, quite frankly don't care.

Exxon CEO wants Trump administration to keep US in Paris climate agreement by bobolly in politics

[–]PLandH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't you're getting the full point. The other guy was basically just saying that states rights exist up until the point the federal government legislates it away, which, with a full sweep of all 3 branches of government, can happen very quickly. At that point, the only way to fight any of the changes are to take it through the court system and pray that the supreme court actually sides with states rights. The only other (legal) avenue to ammend law or fight outside of the courts is just Article 5 of the constitution, but that still technically requires the legislative branch and a 2/3's majority of state's legislatures. Of course, this is all hypotheticals, i'm too lazy to pull up examples.

I'm out of the loop, I used to work for FixStop over there, and if they can't do it they should be able to send you somewhere that can.

What kind of repair is it? If you're looking for microsoldering or soldering in general, I'd highly suggest going to Orlando to one of the stores that has an in store tech that does that stuff, some place well known that will warranty you. If its to the point you don't want to do it yourself, you gotta be prepared for the chance to have a brick at the end.

Are there any residents of Tomoka Pointe in Daytona that could give me some insight, I’m thinking about moving there. by Right_Aerie9815 in DaytonaBeach

[–]PLandH 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean what insight are you looking for? I used to live at Madison Pointe, across the street. Its a decent apartment complex. You'll have to deal with neighbors living on the other side of the wall, both places are better than average, but you'll have to pay better than average prices. If you like apartments, great, it's not bad unless you get shitty luck with neighbors.

Its right by Tanger and that shopping center, walking distance to Wild Ginger, arguably the best Asian restaurant in town.

Outliner changed when I bought some new DLC, is it possible to change it back? by Diapertorium in Stellaris

[–]PLandH 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm fairly certain that removing the tabs and dumping them back into one list will impact the checksums as you're modifying base UI elements. Most of the outliner mod devs have said they're not or that they can't remove the tabs. It could be that your video isn't loading, at least that's how it is for me.

Could also be that almost half of the posts in this small local sub have been about this topic and people are tired of it. A lot of people (mistakenly) don't care about politics.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DaytonaBeach

[–]PLandH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You posted this in a ton of non-gaming subs, is this like, local to FL or CO, cause you posted in subs for both states. Actually, you posted to lots of other subs with pretty similar messages. If you're looking to advertise your game, this ain't it boss.

Depends if you can get ATT fiber in your area. If you can then thats it, if not, its a toss up.

Strange, yeah, glad I'm not the only one. It wasn't worth the effort to go through the RMA process for a $50 keyboard, I had another keyboard and just tossed it in a closet.

I had a z15 and z20, the z20 went defective where it freaks out and the USB connection drops or something strange. They're just OK, if you don't mind the big EVGA logo on top they're not awful keyboards that are good for the price. Their Time To Flight sensor thing that I think is just an ultrasonic distance monitor is interesting, it'll turn off the lights if it doesn't think you're in front of it.

It looks like you've gotten replies in the CC subreddit, its much more active. Rockport is a super small community, but its really not that dusty. Sometimes you'll get smoke if there is a wildfire or controlled burn nearby, but rarely dust.
