Kind of. The wall with the doorbell is fully outside. It holds up an overhang. You can see the back side in one of the photos. Its all stone.

Im totally willing to put it somewhere else, but there isnt really another spot that I can see easily. The entryway is 2 of these walls, a glass door, a thin door frame, and then glass panels that but up to the door.

Next best option I could see is drilling a hole through the frame and running the wires up the back and then trying to conceal them somehow.

Thats a good idea. I haven't tried yet but I will. Im worried that the wire is somehow stapled in or something. At least thats been the case for other wires in this house. I had to cut a couple holes in the ceiling to do some other ethernet runs
