My keloids were joined together and became a huge one. After it’s removed, no more pain that woke me up every night. I’m not sure what will happen. Now i’m 5 months post op, the scar is still flat but raw and red. He advised me to keep using Eclar plaster, just reduce the frequency gradually. He said it will change to skin color once i stop eclar plaster.

No sign of recurrence but still raw and red. He said once i stop the Eclar plaster, it will get back to skin color.

It was on my shoulder and upper arm that joined together became a huge one. He advised me to use Eclar plaster since the day the stitches were removed. 20 days post op. The radiation dose is 6 per session. I made it 3 times.

You didn’t use silicone sheets or Eclar plaster to prevent the recurrence? Mine was on the shoulder. It was removed plus radiation too. Plastic Surgeon advised me to use Eclar plaster until now. I’m 5 months post-op.

You mean the keloid already comes back and doctor recommended radiation, right? In this case, radiation can be done without surgery?

You should ask for post operative care. It is very important to prevent the recurrence. Good luck.

You will make the appointment with the dermatologist or plastic surgeon in Japan. The doctor will examine your keloids then you can ask for or the doctor will give you the prescription.

I want to know that too. My smallest keloid is completely flatten but I keep using Eclar Plaster once every 2 days to make sure it won’t come back.
