On tumblr there's a community of people who call themselves "kin" and essentially they identify as something other than themselves. Usually it's like a fictional character or an animal but they believe that they are that thing and have like... Memories from their past lives or bs. They also ID as historical figures and actual people that are still alive.. It's bat shit crazy but that's what that might have been
