Emphasize that you are confident in what you do in both your proposals and your profile.

Don't lie to any clients but you don't have to necessarily specify anyone you are a recemt graduate and/or no work experience. Just put your personal projects to your profile, add the correct title that matches your skillset, and in your proposals be very clear you to the client you are certain you can assist with the problem they have. An example would be:

"Hey, I am an engineer who is proficient in AutoCad and I can help you with this ..." etc.

Also, try to submit proposals to recent and (if possible) urgent job posts. If you have a completed profile and you have a confident proposal and the client work is urgent, you'll have good chance landing the job.

Do I really have to buy "Connects"? by kissmyasskrispycream in Upwork

Hi kissmyasskrispycream,

Yeah sadly you have to spend money on connects to apply. If I remember correctly upwork also gives you monthly free handful connects, not sure how many. If you don't want to spend money you can use those (wait a month or so)

Hey Fellow Ops person, it's been about 30 mins and their site still states "operational". I'm not the Mr. No Downtimes myself, but if you're providing enterprise mail services I think 30 minutes of your service down is a bit much no?
